It's literally right outside Utsunomiya station. The value for money was great, it's essentially a brand new hotel so everything was squeaky clean. I'd stay again!

Best hotel ever we do in 3 weeks in Japan! It's a love hotel so maybe not for family, perfectly clean, huge bed, huge room, bath tub with bubbles and lights, massage chair, even slot machine in the room, huge TV with many channels, all these equipments for very cheap price. Staff speak only japanese but super friendly.

Great location, service and room. Hotel provides free ochazuke at 8-10pm (limited number of sets that run out by 8:45 tho). It was yummy. We got a deluxe room that was very spacious. Amenities are available for self collection at the lobby. Richmond hotels are always comfortable. Standard rooms are small so get a deluxe room for more space. Join their membership program for one hour extended check out.

Easy to find from Utsunomiya station, very close to the station (walking 5 minutes). I could see the station from my room.

They offer free breakfast (limited options) but I did not have it, great location, very friendly staff.

Just a minute walk from Utsunomiya central station. Really easy access. Lots of places including restaurants and bars are in the walking distance and a perfect place as a base. Staff members were very much friendly, nice and polite. Breakfast was also very nice.

Fairfield in Nikko was an exceptional stay for me, when compared to some other accommodations in Japan, especially due to the room's size, which was definitely on the larger side. The amenities looked brand new to me, as the entire hotel did. I also enjoyed the common spaces which have tasteful design and the outdoor space / terrace with the mountain view.

Great location, wonderful onsen

This hotel was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the room was big enough for me, the view from my room was simply incredible. Location was great too, and a konbini across the street? Score.

My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I like that they provide fresh new towels daily. You can have Coffee, tea from downstairs and also face cleanser etc. They also provide breakfast every morning too although I have not had my breakfast there due to my busy early morning schedule. The staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel is just right opposite Jr line Utsonomiya with plenty of restaurants, shopping etc, so convenient. I would stay here again coz I love it there I feel home.

It had a very luxurious vibe and we felt very well “taken care off”, we were so surprised that it wasn’t more expensive!

The hotel is about 5 to 7 mins walk from OYAMA train station, is rather convenient and assessible. Hotel room is clean like any other Toyoko Inn.

The staff were very helpful in translating information for us. The room was a good size and beds comfortable. Great location on major bus route with lots of restaurants nearby.
