I recommend you to stay here and get to know Kong the very nice owner of the hostel. I loved to stay at the fire ;) the room was clean and nice, the shower (very;)) hot, the location is good and we could even take coffee, tea, banana and water... thank you Kong!

Kong and his family are amazing hosts! It felt like I was welcomed in a home, not an impersonal and cold hostel. I ended up staying one week. My sheets and towel were changed within the week. The location is great, one street away from the center but very peaceful and safe and I had an amazing sleep. Mr Kong is very knowledgeable about lao history (and world current affairs) and he took the time to tell us about all that in details. He and his family are so nice and available for questions. I would come back with no hesitation

Room was very spacious and clean. Nice and peaceful at night. Staff were so friendly and helpful - assisted us with booking bus tickets and tours. Great location and a 2 minute walk into town.

- The room was clean and of decent size - Mr Kong is amazing. He organized everything for me, including my transfer from Phonsavan to Vang Vieng early in the morning and a tuk tuk ride to the bus station. - Motorbikes and bicycles are available for rent at the hostel (be warned though, bicycles sell out pretty fast in advance and motorbikes are only available with manual shifts, no automatic version anywhere near the town)
