Our stay at Souimanga Hotel in Antsirabe was an absolute delight, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. What truly sets Souimanga apart, however, is its exceptional team. The staff are simply outstanding – professional, incredibly kind, and genuinely warm. Their attentiveness and welcoming nature made us feel right at home, ensuring every need was met with a smile. A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the dining and breakfast experience. The meals are incredibly fresh, with many ingredients sourced directly from their own garden. Considering the impeccable design, the stellar service, and the quality of the food, the price for what they offer is truly a steal.

When we got to Antsirabe (after many days of travel), I wanted only two things: 1. a quiet room and 2. a really good shower. Eco Lodges fulfilled these needs and more! The shower was excellent, our room was very quiet, the gardens are absolutely beautiful and large, yet the location is very central. Also, the staff was so friendly and made us a wonderful breakfast. For what it's worth: I asked our driver to give me a recommendation for a hotel in Antsirabe before we arrived in town, and he had two others in mind. I noticed Eco Lodges had better reviews, so we tried this instead (our driver wasn't aware of it). After we stayed here, I asked him what he thought, and he said that he thinks this is the best of the hotels he's seen so far and that he will start recommending this to his guests.

Renee and Roland were fabulous hosts - they were extremely welcoming, thoughtful and helpful. They provided us with everything we needed. Breakfasts were superb. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

What a beautiful property! The apartments were impeccably clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. There was beautiful wood-carved furniture, comfortable beds, and a lovely garden. The housecleaning staff was fabulous. They were incredibly kind and accommodating, bringing in an extra bed for us upon our late arrival. They made an absolutely delicious breakfast as well! The apartments are very close to the Antemoro paper store, where you can see a demonstration of making stunning homemade paper decorated with flowers. We only stayed one night on our way from Tana to Ranomafana, but I would have happily stayed longer.
