- From $270 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 8 reviewsI had such a lovely time there. The facilities are first rate and the staff is amazing. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They put every effort into doing whatever was necessary to make my stay perfect. I was there kind of off season, so the spa was closed, but I wanted services, so they had someone come in for me. I had an amazing massage. The room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable, and I loved the shower. Breakfast was quite yummy and they had rooms service for other meals also. The boatman they had for my lake tour really took me all over the lake. The prices were reasonable, so I could relax and just enjoy the lovely place and not stress about anything.Guest review bycearlwynUnited States

I have been to this town on several previous occasions, (I live in Myanmar, and have an educational charity and donate at the various orphanages). Due to the current 'situation' in Myanmar, there are very few foreign tourists in Nyaung Shwe, and many larger hotels, restaurants and shops that cater to foreign tourists are closed. However, the locality is very safe and the local people are very friendly and helpful. The internet is relatively stable, but take a torch with you because the electricity supply to the town is only available for a few hours each day. Larger hotels have generators, but smaller hotels do not!Guest review bySimonThailand
