Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and private beach, Kensington Hotel Saipan is located in San Roque and offers an all inclusive package for guests to enjoy leisure activities, a free mini-bar,... Unfortunately, I became seriously ill while staying at the hotel and was admitted to the local hospital for emergency surgery. I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the hotel for their efficient, kind and sympathetic support during this difficult time. My daughter came to be with me and was welcomed by the hotel and given their full support. Thank you all so much, especially the drivers, JR and Mike. You are stars! By the way, I've made a full recovery, thanks in part to you getting me to the hospital and helping me through the formalities. I am truly grateful.

Very dirty town and island. Mountains of garbage, empty cans and bottles. A lot of abandoned ruined houses and even large buildings. I was told they were destroyed last year by hurricane but nobody trying to fix those buildings. A lot of stray starving dogs and cats. Restaurants often serve not fresh, but expensive food. No public transportation. You have to rent a car. Taxi is very expensive, 6 miles from hotel to airport at least $25. Very average beaches. However Saipan is good for diving.
Rent a car. There is no public transportation. I went to see where my father fought in the Battle of Saipan and Tinian. This was one of the most profoundly moving trips of my life. We retraced his steps from the landing beach to Marpi's point. The somber memorials at the cliffs and the American memorial to the valor of both sides was intense and emotional. The flight to Tinian on the Cherokee 6 seater was a thrill. The atomic bomb pits with their exhibits was worth the trip. And don't miss the Navy Seabees monument where the island of Tinian is laid out like Manhattan. We were suspicious when we saw the intersection of Broadway and 42nd and even more once we hit 86th Street. Our men there truly were the greatest generation. After history, save some time for snorkeling at one of the many dive sites and the submarine trip.
Other than booking an apartment that was not close to anything and should not advertise for travelers and I had to get another hotel accommodations and spent extra on Hotel costs. Saipan was a great getaway for the weekend.
Saipan is really beautiful - lots of nice places to see and things to see ! Nice golfing locations / good beaches and growing community
I like Guam much better as Saipan really looked like a third world country. I do not get the feeling Saipan is part of USA.
Love saipan! Can’t wait to go back!! My favorite spots were the beach, hands down!! They have enough restaurants so I ate a lot! It was easy after the first day (= for young couples, driving around the island to see the bonsai cliff and suicide cliff, bird island and the grotto. The saipan sign. The sleeping lady. The casino and the beautiful sunsets.

Clean, quite and comfortable! The host is friendly and always helpful. They offer arrangements of tours in Saipan. I was impressed by their light-blue curtains and other archaistic furnishings, beautiful and coordinated with the refreshing seascape. The seaside is very near. Good price and nice choice.

Nice location on the south end of Saipan. Close to the airport but a little hard to find, especially after dark. Wonderfully large pool.

We booked a 1-bedroom apartment just 15 minutes before arriving. No one was in the office when we arrived, but there was a phone number posted on the door. Ken answered this phone number when we called and arrived very quickly. The apartment was perfect for us. A big table for working, okay internet (51ms ping, 7.29 Mbps down, 0.84 Mbps up on average, although there were some really bad points), and a dark bedroom. The bed was extremely hard - the hardest we’ve ever experienced - but we still slept well. The kitchen was decently stocked though, with a water kettle, rice cooker, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. It could have used coffee cups and a pan, but if you were staying long term you could buy your own. This is a good bet if you want to be outside Garapan, want space, and want decent internet - but don't need luxury or extreme cleanliness. It's just a short walk to an awesome sunset as well!

I liked the receptionist . They were all so helpful. The place was awesome. The air con was super cold. It was close to my family. They had hot water and a pretty nice view from our room. I love the concept of the hotel. If you really look close, it’s containers! I love it! It was a first for me. Hands down, the best you can get when you want to keep a budget.

The property is newer. The beds are quite large even at the lower rate so this is a major plus. The location is good. You’ll still need transport to get to the main areas and the tourist locations but the area is very close to it. The road is also good to run on if you like to jog. Wonderful and friendly front desk staff. Great value!

Liked the breakfast especially & some changes in menu for lunch & dinner at Isla cafe. If only the cafe serves ham & fried eggs or omelette, we would greatly appreciate it next time we stay at the resort. Loved the beautiful oceanview, the dinner show & live music, & the resort’s amenities.

This location is very close to the main area of town. The spa part of the hotel is really nice and they have great massages, beauty treatments, etc. The rooms for the spa are much nicer than the hotel rooms. The staff is friendly and very kind.
