The hotel was beautiful and sparkling clean, the breakfasts served from a menu felt very special, the roof terrace with stunning views over the harbour was such a bonus, and most of all the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind from start to finish. From arriving at 1am and being offered Prosecco on the terrace, to thoughtful touches to celebrate my birthday, they really made our stay. We’d definitely recommend the area too, it was peaceful but with enough walks, restaurants and cafes to make for good pottering, and the boat to Valetta was easy and quick for more sightseeing or a livelier night.

It's a bed-and-breakfast, but it's outstanding as the owner makes it so. Collecting your keys and using the code with the precise information provided makes it easy to walk in, and it's beautiful. It's their home setup, like an apartment building with a central hallway with stylish light decor that oozes charm. The rooms are large, delightful, well-appointed, full of light, perfectly maintained, and spotless. They are very generous in stocking the kitchenette, but the ambiance makes it stand out. Yes, the beds are comfy and good quality, with lovely freshly cleaned bed linens and towels, but because they put so much effort into it, it is a place you want to hang out. So you're not stuck in a hotel where you must pay for everything or sit in some breakfast room. You want to hang out in your large sunny room even though it's an incredible location, which makes it so unique - it's quiet but close to everything. Valetta was lovely, but now it's one endless chain of restaurants and bars with competing, deafening music -Michael Jackson blaring from one and Journey from another. It's ruined Valletta, but Birgu has plenty of history, architecture, museums and restaurants. Enjoy the gondola ride across the harbor for three euros to Valletta if you want. Or grab a car and go where you want as it's accessible, with much less traffic. Or you can walk around Birgu, where you get a sense of history and enjoy the ocean in the adjacent, pristine, quiet cove. It's a shame because Valetta used to be a beautiful, elegant city, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. But now, it's like running the gauntlet as servers confront you with their menu, trying to get you to come in as you can barely walk on the pedestrian street as it's one outdoor seating area, and the noise at night is invasive. Birgu - it's a haven. It's what you want. It's relaxing. It's beautiful.

Location, room and staff. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was because of the art deco decor and the location. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with great communication before arriving, during stay and after. Really feels like a home away from home.

We loved our stay at Boco Boutique Hotel. It was small and sweet place with a nice view of 3 cities and Valletta from the rooftop. At the rooftop you can enjoy having your breakfast, lunch or dinner or drinks while enjoying the sunset and the view. The location is very convenient. A few minutes walk to busstops and ferry terminal going back and forth (3 cities to Valetta). If you like a place thats less crowded, typical Maltese neighborhood so we highly recommend this place. The staff were very nice and accomodating and Tony the owner was very hospitable and very nice. It was not a typical hotel where there is always somebody at the reception. Kunal one of the staff, after his shift in the morning, you can communicate with him through WhatsApp if you have any questions or request. He even recommended places to visit and how to get there. The room we had was spacious, with huge bed, and very comfortable.. The bathroom too is big and we had three balconies.2 small and bigger one where you can find the fridge and its also a place where you can hang and dry your clothes especially after you had a swimming trip. You don't even to bring an adapter if you need one because they have it provided in the room. The breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice that we love and they have different options you can choose. You can bothe enjoy breakfast downstairs or at the rooftop. During our last day, we checked out 11 am but our flight was still at 7:45pm and we had a chat with Tony and it was nice of him to say that when we come back to get our luggage that we can even freshen up at the lounge at the rooftop, take a shower ,have some coffee before we leave. We highly recommend to stay in this sweet beautiful boutique hotel.

Cospicua itself is nothing special, apart from the waterfront and the fortifications. However, it is well situated for exploring Senglea, Birgu and Valletta. Easy to access bus routes to explore other parts of the island, and close to the Valletta ferry. Great choice of restaurants and bars for a variety of cuisines and to suit different budgets.

Birgu is, and always has been, a most important and interesting area of Malta. All the Three Citta are steeped in historic and modern attractions. The whole area is a good mix of old and new with more to come. It is central and a short ferry ride across Grand Harbour to Valletta. A truly great place to stay. Check out all the attractions and interesting places to visit. There are quite a number of good waterside restaurants and bars, both in Birgu and across the footbridge in Senglea. Please be aware what comes with history is historic structure. There are some short but steep footways. All are accessible, but with a little extra care.

Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta, Senglea was more relaxing than a stay in Valletta but had great transport links to and from Valletta, with Senglea being one of the three cities the other two were adjoined and therefore accessible either on foot or by taxi. There was a good variety of restaurants and all very reasonably priced, we never had a bad meal during our stay. Places we ate at and would recommend were Aroy-d-Fusion, Il-Pirata, Il-Hnejja and Novita,

Loved the little streets and the marina.

Loved the little streets and the marina. It was nice to walk around and look at all the super yachts moored there. The lovely square in the centre has cafes and restaurants as well as small shops and a bus stop. There is also the Malta at War Museum, the Inquisitors palace and the Fort which overlooks Valletta harbour. All worth a visit .

We explored the maze of local streets, where traffic levels are very low, and every house has a colourful wooden balcony. We located a couple of places where you can swim from the rocky shoreline, and enjoyed several local ice-cream outlets. Fort St Angelo was worth a visit of several hours, with awesome views of the Grand Harbour, and we also visited the Inquisitor's Palace, learning the sinister side of Malta's religious history.

We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name.

We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name. It's full of history, the local people are incredibly friendly, and it's a great place from which to explore the rest of the island. We didn't have a car - Vittoriosa has a lot of very narrow cobbled streets, not car-friendly - a plus as far as we were concerned! If you're interested in Malta's history, stay here.

Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities.

Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities. While the surroundings are similar to Valetta, there is less tourists and more tranquility. Valetta is 2,5Euros and less than 10 minutes away with the ferry that runs every 30'. Plenty of water front eateries, cafes and bars. Not to miss.
