Great food, very nice rooms, excellent service in all areas, great facilities across the board. Everyone is so nice, it truly is almost like staying in a resort, but at a fraction of the cost and with the added charm of staying on a local island. I stayed here for 9 nights in total in Feb/March 2025. I loved my stay a lot! It was very comfortable and clean. There is a small kitchen that you can make coffee or tea and cut fruits. Very close to the bikini beach as well. The receptionist, Hari was the best host and he could help me anything I needed and he’s a super friendly guy so I also enjoyed talking with him. Thank you so much!

The house is new, clean and beautiful. And there is a place where you can relax and enjoy the seaview nearby. The time I spent here is comfortable and chill. Since the duration I stay is low season, the guest house offering me free tour guide for the whole island and free snorkeling plus GoPro video and photo. The boss and the staff here are really, really nice and kind.

definitely our favorite hotel in the Maldives, everything was just perfect from staff to rooms to service to food and activities. They even planned out an amazing birthday for me with activities they have never done before like a beach picnic on a sandbank and a romantic dinner at the beach. Definitely a hotel I would recommend and come back to!!

Quiet and peaceful. The place has stunning view, and the beach is swimmable and clean. It has limited rooms, thus no crowd at all compared to other hotel in the island. Other hotels are noisy and crowded. The Sunset Villa is a jackpot to us. Worth the money. Though the place is small it has everything we need. They also give unlimited water for drink.

We were enjoying our vacation in Dhiguveli Breeze. Personal were very professional and hospitality. All time we had breakfast/lunch and dinner in our Hotel because it was number one in the island. This place is absolutely stunning! They’ve done an amazing job preserving the island’s natural beauty, and everything is focused on sustainability. The staff are super polite and professional they take care of every little detail from the moment you land in Malé. The boat ride is quite long but so worth it. We were welcomed with drinks and cold towels, and had a quick briefing to get to know the hotel concept and all the activities. Luis and Lucy were always around and ready to help with anything we needed! The buffet was incredible every single day fresh, healthy, and super tasty. Big shoutout to Ridoy and Rassika, who made us feel right at home every time we went to grab something to eat 🤍 I had the best massage in their spa, it’s a beautiful and clean space. The tours were amazing, especially the Ecoboo cruise. Inke and Ayan made everything more fun and captured the best memories for us with awesome photos and videos. Can’t recommend it enough I’ll definitely be coming back!

The customer service at this hotel is truly exceptional. When inclement weather prevented us from visiting the nearby islands on our scheduled day, the staff went above and beyond to make alternative arrangements. They quickly secured a hotel just a short five-minute drive from the airport and promptly rescheduled our flights when we expressed concerns about the revised departure time. . Their thoughtfulness and efficiency in handling the situation were truly commendable. The way the staff empathized with our disappointment at losing a day on the island soothes our disappointed hearts! They wasted no time in offering us an upgrade and special perks to compensate for the unforeseen circumstances. Their genuine concern and effort to make things right instantly turned our disappointment into excitement. Once we arrived on the island, we were greeted by a team of enthusiastic staff members who created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their beaming smiles and genuine hospitality added an extra layer of joy to our vacation. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a memorable and enjoyable time. Throughout our stay, our assigned gem, Hamzath, proved to be a true gem indeed. He took great care of us, ensuring our every need was met. Hamzath went above and beyond to curate unforgettable dining experiences for us, recommending the finest restaurants and providing personalized attention. It was clear that he took immense pride in his work and genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience. The natural beauty of the island was simply breathtaking. The crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors of the surrounding ocean were truly mesmerizing. We were thrilled to discover that we could easily indulge in snorkeling right from our room.

    visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … ​​our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us.     The grand water villa was amazing, beautiful view, very spatious, nice deck. The whole staff at the resort was nice and caring , from the people working in the buffet restaurant to our villa attendent Alamin who was absolutely great! He provided us everything we needed, including water, towels and toiletry. He even decorated our room with animal towels and nice messages! The beach was splendid! Its powder white sand and the blue water made us fell in love with this place forever! The food buffet was realy good, it had all kind of delicious options from different cuisines. Also, the bar had good cocktails and complementary infused water! The couple massage we had was very relaxing! Our masseuses Nydia and Rada were amazing! We also liked the grounds, not only that they were well kept, but also it looked very tropical and lush. I have to mention the great free snorkeling we did every day at the Dive Center or the other two spots on site! We saw eagle rays, sting rays, manta rays, turtles, all kind of colorful fish and even sharks! We definitely recommend Sun Syiam Olhuveli as one of the best vacation spots we've been to! As my wife said that is truly a piece of paradise!

Special thanks to Mohammed who went extra mile and organized a birthday surprise for me, room decor was the most emotional moment iv ever had. 😭A bottle of wine was a best gift ever!The restaurant team also surprised me with a cake! To be honest, this is a birthday to remember!! The reception team,Hordy and the rest (cant remember the names were also very welcoming and offering top notch. From the airport transfer, everything was well organized in a professional manner! All inclusive package was worth it! The cocktail bar was one of my favorite places!!!     One day is plenty.

    One day is plenty. You can walk to the main square and all the main sights in one day. Entry to mosques is limited to certain times of the day (1-2) hour window so plan accordingly. Food/drink is fairly pricey and allow for 10% service charge and 17% Tax on published prices. Most places price in USD but will convert to local currency (at the prevailing exchange rate).

    One of the most beautiful places in the world.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and...

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach,...

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    We liked almost everything.

    We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...
