I stayed one night at Hulhule Island Hotel in Malé after my speedboat transfer to Dhighura was cancelled due to rough seas, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the night. Yes, it’s on the expensive side, but the location and facilities are excellent — perfect for a short stay near the airport. I even had the chance to enjoy a quick snorkel right there, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and I want to especially thank the kind egg chef who noticed I was struggling with an injured hand and helped plate my food — such a thoughtful gesture! The bar staff were also fantastic, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommended even if it’s a bit pricey — the service and comfort make it well worth it.

Marukab Plaza is located in Malé, within a 9-minute walk of Sultan Park and half a mile of National Football Stadium. We had complimentary arrival transfer from and to the Velana International Airport to/from hotel. We left our luggage at the hotel after we checked out because we had a late flight and were able to explore Male and Hulhumale in peace. The location of the hotel is very good, just 2 minutes from the ferry and bus stop. The staff is nice and friendly. The room was clean.

Nalahost 2BR Seaview Terrace apartment is located in Malé, just a 10-minute walk from Sultan Park and 0.6 miles from Republic Square. With sea views, this accommodation offers a terrace. The communication was very good, we were in constant contact and the directions given were very clear. No issues finding the place and the appt was big and clean. Location was perfect with many shops and restaurants around.

Fanfini Residence Male’ offers free Wifi and rooms with air conditioning in Malé. Very good rooms at Fanfini and close to the ferry. The host waited for us on arrival and showed us our room. You have everything you need here, including free drinking water. The building is located in a nice area, not too noisy (like on Male's chaotic main streets). All in all a great stay.
