“I spent 13 absolutely amazing days in 6 Senses! I loved everything - accommodation (I had a water villa), beach, ocean, jungles, food in the restaurant, corals, fish, crabs... The hotel has a very attractive policy - at least, for me as a megapolis citizen - a so called "bare foot" policy: you do not need shoes, sandals or flip-flops, and can walk with your bare feet in any place in the island (or ride a bike, if you prefer, since every guest has his/her own bike for the period of stay). Water villa provides you with a unique opportunity to explore the ocean right from your villa, and you can have crabs as guests on your veranda, and fish would be delighted if you feed it with bread - and you would be just happy to make pictures! And what I liked most of all in the hotel is people - the hotel staff, people who do everything to make you happy: waiters, spa staff (I would certainly recommend massage by an absolutely amazing Vietnamese lady named KC and fantastic yoga/fitness/relax classes held by Elle), boat team, cleaning team, and - of course - your butler. Whatever problems you have - the bed is not comfortable, Internet is slow, your favorite soup is not on an in-villa dining menu, etc. - tell your butler, or GEM (Guest Experience Maker)and he/she will be happy to help. My bed was not comfortable for me - too big pillows, too soft mattress, I complained to my GEM, and it was all fixed, along with whatever other problems I had.
A couple of advises to those who haven't chosen the hotel yet: 1) you can have a very romantic time here, but this place is definitely not for clubbers; 2) the alcohol prices in Maldives are very high, and this hotel is not an exception, so drinking opportunities are quite poor; but it's highly unlikely you will see a loudly drunk company in the island - quite a positive distinction from other beach destinations; 3) it takes you a 40 min. flight and a 20 min.”
