Stayed here for 8 days comfortably. Fundamentally, the room was clean, the staff was professional, and they had a good selection of food. It's also close to the beach and you can easily catch the bus from the nearby stops to go anywhere. Oh and a bonus - THEY HAVE A LIFT. This last point is a bit one because there's a bunch in Hulhumale without it, which forces you to carry your luggage.

The staff were extremely friendly. They had just opened the week we arrived and they were so hospitable. The hotel was very clean and the food was good. The free transfer from the airport to the hotel, and then back to the airport was easy and seamless.

    I had previously stayed in Male city on two previuos visits and found it a pleasant place to stay. In the intervening 12 years since my last visit the entire Hulumale area has been developed and has become something of a dormitory suburb to Male city with the completion of the China Friendship Bridge. Male is now a somehwat traffic choaked hot and relatively dirty city with Hulhumale a relatively quiet place to stay with plenty of good restaurants and hotels to suit almost any budget. In addition there are plenty of options to keep you occupied from shark and manta dives, island tours and windsurfing, paddle boarding and even kite surfing advertised by tour groups located in the area.

    Hulhumale is great for crashing out after a long flight or for staying the night before an early flight. It is also a good base for visiting Male by ferry. The long straight beach is made up of broken coral and soft white sand. The off shore reef protects the beach and make swimming safe for children. There are also areas of shade from the palm trees for those who don't want to stay out in the sun. There are numerous cafes and restaurants of all kinds.

    I prefer Hulhulmale to Malé when I have a stopover.

    I prefer Hulhulmale to Malé when I have a stopover. It has a beach and isn't that busy and loud. The travelling time from the airport is only 15 minutes. Hulhulmale offers everything I need for my short stays.

    Probably the worst condition of a hotel I have ever seen at this expensive overprice. The staff was nice and helpful, but was glad it was just for One night. The whole hotel was in a miserable condition and completely No sense of internal decoration. No elevator. Unbelievable smell of urine. The beds were Soft and with a hole in the middel, moldy wet Walls, the White curtains too long and Brown. The airfreshner too strong and overwhelming. The only consolation was a Great Bombay Indian Restaurant 5-7 mins walk away. Always tale local taxi and not the taxi the hotel trys to make you take at 5 times the price

    Would recommend this side over Male, what some locals said to us. Has a lot of small hotels and more beach area. Male is much more crowded and more concrete, less beaches. A few decent Indian restaurants. But other restaurants were hit or miss-lots of canned and dried foods. So definitely had a hard time with my stomach and some of the meals. But locals were all very nice. Stayed here 2 nights prior to going to a resort but 1 night would’ve been good enough.

    Hulhumale is the face of the Maldives that you don't see in the holiday brochures. It is very busy, especially the roads which buzz with motorcycles and scooters. The physical 'state' of Hulhumale is unkempt and dirty.

    Clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and welcoming. After reading other reviews we were prepared for something worse but the reality surpassed our expectations. Special thanks for the transfer from the speedboat harbour to the hotel and on the next day to the airport. Even though our speedboad arrived ahead of time the hotel staff was able to adapt and pick us up earlier. I should also mention the cafeteria available in the hotel with a wide selection of Asian and European food at a very affordable price.

    We already stayed in different hotels in Hulhumale but this hotel is definitely the best! The room looks exactly as on the pictures and is well maintained. The view is great and the room is very cozy. Also the bathroom is modern and quite spacious. Their terrace on the top is just incredible and offers a great view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They did everything to make our stay memorable and especially Mr. Bhagyanath was always available if there were any questions or issues.

    - It’s a nice transit hotel for max 1 night, like an airport hotel. It’s maybe not even the fault of the hotel, Hulhumale in general is a place you would try to avoid. It’s dirty, crowded, nothing to do there, really just a tranzit zone. - The hotel itself is very clean and check-in is possible from 12h already. We arrived a bit even a bit earlier and could occupy the room. - You can ask for beach towels.

    The staff was beyond amazing. They were really welcoming, kind and helpful. They offer great breakfast and have an outdoor sitting with views of Hulhumale Beach. The hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable.
