Absolutely amazing place! The winery is really vast, they produce excellent wines and their restaurants are superb. The stuff in the hotel did everything for us and we felt as really exceptional guests. This place is just spotless - you can feel like in a winery in Tuscany. It was the best spot in our whole Mexico trip. The only thing we regretted was that our staying there was too short.

I was in SMA years back, and it was completely different.

I was in SMA years back, and it was completely different. This is a tourist town. Before 5 or 6 a.m., places opened for breakfast; at night, they used to close between 10/11 pm where you could find a variety of tacos or dinner. Now they open in the mornings around 9 am to get a cup of coffee, and by 8 pm everywhere started closing, and only find one or two places now, not like before, when it was different to choose. Please don't show up when they're closing because they get upset. The only places that are open late are the high-class bars or bar restaurants where you pay in dollars; that's the reason I noted it was the festivities of SMA. The majority of hotels, Airbnbs, and others were almost empty because I changed hotels; I was looking on all websites, and everybody had rooms available. I was impressed because after you go and take pictures at churches and get drunk one night, after that, there's nothing you can do in SMA.

If I were twenty years younger, I would enjoy the charm of the narrow roads and sidewalks. Some of them are on steep inclines. There is a lot of culture here, and did enjoy the opera at the Teatro Juarez. It has a lot of history that creates crowds.

Industrious town with a lot of charm and a rich history. Live in "Centro Histórico" with a lot of sites that remind you of the colonial times. Plenty of sightseeing places, as well as lots of entertainment and arts.

The hotel was located near downtown and many restaurants. The city of Dolores has a lot of history to visit, and people are very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant Mama Mia is a great place to eat, and the Entertainment is great. Highly recommend it. If you are looking for a great culture experience and a good hotel, I recommend both.

I wanted to go to the market and the plaza, but the traffic, particularly the bike and motorcycle traffic, were seriously dangerous. Very crowded and not picturesque to see (what I saw). I changed plans and departed for the hotel. But, if looking for places to eat, I recommend Los Plebes, an outdoor covered restaurant with great food and good service between town center and the airport.

This is a fabulous place and it's no wonder that it's been voted the most beautiful small city in the world three times! The restaurants are outstanding, particularly Quince, Tostevere, Zumo, and Los Milagros. This is a very walkable town, but you must wear sturdy, comfortable shoes on the cobblestones. Uber is highly recommended. The rides are safe, cheap, and never more than a few minutes away. If a day trip to Guanajuato City is possible, don't miss it. It is one of the most beautiful and unique places we have ever been. Use Bajiogo to book a shuttle between Queretaro and San Miguel. Great drivers, reliable, and extremely punctual.

An amazing cultural and vibrant town.

An amazing cultural and vibrant town. So beautiful and historic. This should be a must visit for anyone planning to visit Mexico. Narrow winding cobbled street. Vibrant colored buildings. Underground tunnels, statues and churches. On top of that a great night life and restaurants.

We absolutely love León!

We absolutely love León! It’s a huge, vibrant city with so much to see and do. Of course, our favorite part is visiting family and spending time with everyone, but we also love going to Centro. There are so many great restaurants,great zoo to explore, local food spots, shops, and many beautiful places to explore. Another thing we love about León is the location. It’s a great home base for visiting other amazing cities like San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato. The only downside and it’s really not even a complaint is the traffic. León is a very busy city, so definitely plan extra time when driving anywhere. We always enjoy our time here and look forward to coming back! ❤️🇲🇽

I loved the museums, the architecture and how pedestrian friendly the town was. It was very crowded being August and a weekend when I went. I would recommend coming off season to avoid the crowds. The Aurora Fabrica was a must see! and The Toy Museum.
