The room was very clean (including the air conditioning ducts, I checked), everything was new, It was quiet to sleep, It had a great view of the volcano and the breakfast was healthy and tasty. As a plus, the shopping mall where the hotel is located is beautiful, cheerful, has an ice skating rink and good shops and food. If you have a car, the location is also good for going to both Cholula and Puebla. The only thing they need to improve is that the restaurant space wasn't big enough to accommodate so many people, but I didn't have to wait too much. It's worth It, I recommend It!

Rooms are big and spacious, common area is central and welcoming, and staff is very nice and helpful. The hostel offers many fun activities just in the right amount. The overall atmosphere is chill and very friendly. It feels like whoever planned this place was a traveller himself and knows exactly what travellers look for. Great experience! The city is very friendly and lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel to choose from. Walkable and safe. It has a lot if different historical places to see and the Uber drivers are very friendly and happy to drive you.

Tehuacán is an old Mexican city, rich in history and charm. But the most interesting are the things around it, such as the archeological zone, the nature reserve, and the San Juan Raya dinosaur footprints paleontology area.

This is a little gem of a town we picked at the last minute...

This is a little gem of a town we picked at the last minute for the final leg of a 4-week driving tour of Veracruz state, flying in and out of Puebla. There was a lovely dance performance on Sunday night in the square and good food at Vittorio's there.

Cuetzalan is a charming town.

Cuetzalan is a charming town. Beautiful old town in the mountains on a hillside. Amazing weekend atmosphere with lots of local tourists. Great street food, some good restaurants. Hourly voladores performances on the weekends at one of the cathedrals. It is a trek to get there but worth the effort. It definitely lives up to the Pueblos Magicos title (not all towns do). One restaurant you must try is TAOL. It should get a Michelin Star at some point, in our opinion. Unique dishes inspired by local ingredients and customs. There are quite a few adventuresome activities that can be done (hikes, waterfalls, caves, zip lining, etc) and several companies that will take you there. The botanical garden is worth a visit.

Enjoyed all the coffee shops and variety of restaurants.

Enjoyed all the coffee shops and variety of restaurants. Each little restaurant has its own charm. Everything is withing walking distance and the people are friendly. The tour to the water fall "Las Brisas" was incredible! fun, exiciting and a wonderful opportunity to be out in nature. Evening walks are pleasant I enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Chignahuapan does not make the grade for a Pueblo Magico in...

Chignahuapan does not make the grade for a Pueblo Magico in my opinion. There is very little that is quaint. Compared to Cueztalan, Atlixco and Zacatlán, Chignahuapan is forgettable. I am sure there are some holidays or events that could be wonderful here, but the average day is well below average.

Lovely atmosphere of the historic downtown center. Great restaurants and coffee shops Main cathedral impressive, specially it's three organs, with one fully operational. Consider an extra day or two to visit Cholula and Atlixco

Highly recommend Cholula, the church Virgin de Los Remedios...

Highly recommend Cholula, the church Virgin de Los Remedios is spectacular and you must visit the regional museum with excellent information and displays. There are many great restaurants with a variety of cuisine including of course authentic regional food. You just walk around town and we never saw shady characters at all. The colonial architecture is classic and we found the people to be friendly and helpful. The climate for our visit in October was varied but generally nice.

Tehuacan is hidden gem so many things to see and do very...

Tehuacan is hidden gem so many things to see and do very active night life and lots of historical monuments and museums they even had a zoo. The zoo though very remarkable and unlike anything I had ever experienced made me sad because so many beautiful animals that were kept in less than adequate space. The care for the animals was very good but also odd. I highly recommend this place.
