The rooms are fully renovated, and everything is new, with a very nice and modern design. I especially liked the shower, it was absolutely great, with plenty of hot water.
The room was cleaned every day, and each time we returned, it felt like entering a brand-new room.
Everything was good, especially considering the price.
The hotel also has a wonderful restaurant with very friendly staff and a wide selection of food available until 22:00. The food was super tasty, Highly recommended.

Lovely rooms and assuming there's sunny days in this country, those nature areas surrounding it might be gorgeous.
In general it's a very cute little hotel. With lots of adorable things to sell and all around tons of attention to detail.
They even got a garage where you can park your bicycle. Much better than i expected and i arrived there when it was dark.
Staff is extraordinary friendly.

Lovely place to stay a lot of trees, fresh air , beautiful birds sounds and nice people all-around. We live in busy city daily, that was exactly what we need to regain peace and forget about all stress . A lot of sport activities, specially tennis , first time it was great time . Facilities in the hotel were good, the room was a bit dated but comfortable enough. Nice bathroom, tea/coffee and kettle provided.

Just love the diversity of eateries and excellent shopping.interesting aera, lovely up by the lake and out at Haven . Ice cream parlour can't be beaten . Love the Ollybollen stalls in the winter. Cinema is very good. Just a great wee city. .

It was very pretty but the weather for our stay was awful. The location is very good for walking, cycling and sailing. Also a good base for travel. We visited Arnhem, Nimjegen, Amsterdam and Harlem as well as a flower parade and the bulb fields. A car is essential.

Great driving drifting school at local test centre, some nice local parks and the new national park at Marker Wadden all worth visiting and enough for a long weekend, otherwise a pleasant modern town.

Rutten is located between Lemmer and Urk, very peaceful and...
Rutten is located between Lemmer and Urk, very peaceful and only a twenty minute drive to either, or half an hour to Lelystad. All three are well worth visiting, have really interesting attractions and the food is fantastic! We ate Kibbeling 4 days in a row, it is now our favourite dish!

Very quiet area with not much around for food on foot (buffet restaurant - very nice and a petrol station).
City centre about a 10 minutes taxi ride (€14) with a lot to choose from to eat and do.
Amsterdam and airport about 30 mins away.
We spent quite a bit on taxis getting around so maybe rent a car.

Family friendly, great for small kids, lots of daylong activities. I didn't have to be with my kids all the time.
The entertainment staffs took care of the kids very well, and kept them engaged & happy all day!

15-20 min. Waiting to check in because the restaurant line is priority.
They only change the towels not make the bed nor replace shampoo and soap.
The room is tiny for 2 people.
The worst: THE BLACKOUT doesn't work. It's wrongly instaled or what? 6 am it's like a sunny day in the room.
45 EUR it's a very very well payed. NEVER MORE THAN THIS.

Too built up and hard to find parking. However, the people were very friendly and helpful. Good area of restaurants in the centre of town. Not easy to navigate the ring road, and if you wanted to walk around everything is just too far away. Good lake. Unfortunately the weather was bad on our trip
