Location was in easy walking distance of a host of interesting spots, restaurants and shops. The breakfast was top notch and the interior to die for. A step back in time in the most enticing manner. Hats off to the interior designer. Absolutely spot on!

We stayed twice at the beginning and end of our trip. Loved the location and the view. Breakfast was excellent! The hotel was quite busy but the food kept coming out. The second time we arrived there was a little glitch with our booking but it was quickly remedied by Sandra at the front desk who went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. The room was perfect great views of old town - our loo had a million dollar view lol! Can't wait to come back!

A beautiful city with a vibrant downtown area.

A beautiful city with a vibrant downtown area. The views atop the Floyen funicular are spectacular. The historic wooden buildings of Bryggen are worth a visit. We attended a concert at the Grieg Hall which was impressive. An easy city to walk around. Our 2 days here were very enjoyable.

Bergen is a beautiful small city on a picturesque harbour.

Bergen is a beautiful small city on a picturesque harbour. Many lovely buildings, exceptional in the Old Town area. The funicular is well worth going on, amazing views of Bergen and many nice walks in the area. Most attractions are within walking distance of the main harbour.

It was a beautiful city but it rained all the time we were...

It was a beautiful city but it rained all the time we were there. As the Norwegian say there are no bad weather just bad clothes, so make sure that you wear waterproof not just shower proof like I did and was completely soaked through. We visited mount Fløyen and would have done the 3 km walk back to town but it was too wet. Visited Bryggen, the German church and all the quarters around. Would love to go back in better weather and just spend more time looking around.
