The ambience, music, smell, decoration of the entire place were all so perfectly curated to match a gentle chill out vibe with an amazing view of snowy mountains and fjord.
Dinner was simple healthy dishes cooked Norwegian style and breakfast was a tasteful healthy buffet. This is honestly a true wellness retreat for body and soul. And here I haven’t even mentioned the Jacuzzi under the stars!
To top it off we witnessed the spectacular display of northern lights - all within the comfort of our bedroom!

The whole property is done to the highest specification and attention to detail, very clean, very comfortable and warm. The communal spirit is at the essence there, you meet travellers from all walks of life.
The property owner, Oliver, is a well travelled, very knowledgeable and passionate man and to meet him was a great pleasure.

We slept very well here (the bed is comfortably on the soft side by design). We could park right in front of the door. Communication with the host was very good.

The house was spacious, very clean, and felt like a home <3 the property is on the water — it’s very beautiful and serene. There was a sauna on-site that we used for an extra fee. It was awesome!

Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to...
Very picturesque island, two days is more than enough to explore it. Sunshine is a rarity. End of season mid August. Place for camper vans to park. One shop and one cafe. You can buy only beer in a shop, no alcohol. For a harder spirits you need to travel to Tromso. Bring your food if you can, shops sells very simple and not very good staff. More or less decent meal you can have in an arctic hotel, which is pricey and just ok, no more, choice is limited.

I enjoyed the amazing views as well as the peaceful environment. The apartment was neat and had everything I needed.
The bus ride into town was a great way to see more of Tromso even though it was 30 minutes each way. I loved it.

Yggdrasil farmhotel retreat & spa was great. Elegant. Maria, the host, talented chef, created beautiful and delicious meals. Restaurant is classy with beautiful views. Hike up to the cabin was fun. Great scenery. Stayed another day...it was that nice.

The apartment is a little ways from the main city but the check in lady was kind enough to share some tips on how we can move around to and from the city. The norwegian bus system is pretty accurate in terms of timing and very easy for us foreigners to buy the tickets etc.
However, because the apartment is bit far away, the bus line that takes you around the area will close rather early so you might have to resolve in taking a cab. They are also closed on Sunday and very limited times on Satuday. (Note, this is not the main public bus transport in Tromso but the public bus (that takes you to Tromso...)
The apartment itself is super lovely, we saw the aurora from our place on the day we arrived. The view is just insane with the mountains and the waters, i highly recommend this place and if i ever were to come back here, i'd definitely stay with them again

we had snow a fantastic car a nice place fantastic host and great guides .
a super supermarket with fresh fish and superb meat .. plenty of veg
we saw the Aurora borealis twice, one even from the terrace at home..
the reindeers free and in with the SAMi people.
we did few short drive around to see the fiord at day and night.. ( well we had 3 jh light a day
we rest we had twice dinner out in Tromso and in Skogfiords
we had super company for chasing the first night the l nordic lights called Wandering Owl ..all was magic .

The location, the host, the place and everything was absolutely incredible – 5-star experience!!!
The host was always there to support us with whatever we needed or could think of – thank you so much!
The location itself is slightly remote with a most stunning view of the sea. We connected with the locals, eat fresh fish, swam in the sea, saw dolphins, ... and the list goes on.
We had the most beautiful and peaceful time staying at Buvic.

Very clean comfy cozy apartment in a mountain setting. Very beautiful area to drive around. Northern lights can be watched from a nearby location. Phillip helped with aurora locations and local attractions. Enjoyed our stay 20 min away from city center and around fjords.
