Search villas in Mount Cook National Park

Good location just on the outskirts of Mount Cook village and east driving distance to the start of most walking tracks. The kitchen facilities were good, but unfortunately someone cooked fatty sausages on the hob and smoked out the communal areas.

The hostel is located in the center of Mt Cook Village. From there, it is easy to go to the heliport for the Tasman Glacier tours. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains, the staff's attention is good. The beds are comfortable and the heating is really good. The hostel is clean and organized.

In Mount Cook village are no possibilities to go out at night. This is why everyone in the hostel is gathering in the community areas and as a solo traveller you get easily in touch with other travellers. Very clean, very well equipped. Even offer blankets in case you get cold.

Mt Cook is a remote location and this hotel is amongst the only ones there. We had booked a 2 bedroom villa - excellent views of the snow capped mountains, very friendly reception staff , easy to pick up keys even a little late, car parking in front of the villa. The house is well insulated , irrespective of the temperatures outside. Comfy beds, neat, clean , daily service provided . We didnt go to the restuarants so cant comment on those . The best was the jaccuzi -most relaxing after the trek.

Location of hotel was amazing. In the centre of mount cook village. Communal area was very clean and tidy and had stunning balcony view point. Room clean and bed comfortable.

Great location in Mount cook village

For a hostel it was pure luxury, there was a sauna, free shampoo and conditioner in the shower and little curtains to pull in front of the beds.

We had a fantastic view of the glacier from our room, shared areas clean. Great kitchen area which is useful as the Mt Cook Village has limited food options. Also had a sauna which we used. Parking was filled quickly but could park slightly further away. Close locations to hikes.

The location is amazingly situated about 10-15 minutes from Mt. Cook Village. We arrived a day early and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute. The views from the room were great. The food at the cafe is good and the staff friendly.

It is in the lower village, so some of the more popular walks require walking to the start point. For some this may be of no concern. Just been refurbished to a very high standard, beds in shared dorms are comfortable and private feeling even in an 8 bed. All the facilities are very clean, and staff are friendly.
