All the facilities were clean, built well and beautiful. (Mostly built by the owner btw!). The clean and well equipped kitchen with mega BBQ was our favorite part. Besides that, the garden was designed beautifully with many plants and flowers. The beds were amazing as well. (Better than my own bed at home). And the outdoor living was so fun compared to our daily life in a big city. We honestly have zero complaints. Best place we have stayed in New Zealand!

Located alongside Paparoa National Park, 30 metres from the sea, Punakaiki Beachfront Motels are 5 minutes’ walk from Pancake Rocks and local cafes and restaurants. All accommodation offer outdoor seating and cooking facilities. The location was perfect! The accomodations exceeded anything that I had hoped for. There was so much room in our cottage, and the kitchen had everything we would need. There was a super comfy couch, lots of room for bags, and umbrella to use if needed, and a spacious bathroom. The restaurant at the hotel check-in area was a homerun; we ate there for dinner, and then the following day for breakfast, and it was all very delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I only wish our stay was longer; I would come back here in a heartbeat.
