Before our arrival, we were provided with clear and detailed instructions and directions to the property, which made getting there hassle-free. One of the most thoughtful touches was the warm Omani hospitality—we were welcomed with traditional coffee and delicious dates upon arrival, and they were offered to us every time we went in and out of the hotel. Additionally, their rooftop offers a stunning view of Nizwa, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the beauty of the city. The staff—Raghu, Dil, and Ibrahim—were incredibly courteous and always ready to help, making our stay even more pleasant. A special moment was when we received a thoughtful little gift upon our departure, handed to us by the owner’s adorable son, Jibran—a heartwarming gesture that made our visit even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place with great hospitality, stunning architecture, a prime location, and a beautiful rooftop view, Alaqur View Inn is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

This is possibly the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in (and I stay 75+ nights a year in hotels) Ibrahim is the proud owner who also arranged pick up from Al Hamra at short notice. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. Watching the sunset from the property was phenomenal as was the sunrise the following morning. The balcony walk begins right at the property and hence we were the first ones on the trail. Sadly there are only 3 rooms and I expect soon it will be difficult to get a reservation once word gets out how wonderful it is.

Our stay was very nice, it was very cool experience to sleep in such historic building. Our room had no windows which was part of the adventure. There is also amazing rooftop with 360 view where we watched sunset. Adnan Is very helpful and will answer all of your questions, we also needed help to park and he kindly came out to guide us the way.

It was very spacious and served my family well. We loved the pool to dip in at the end of the day and especially the location as it was right in the heart of Nizwa, so close to the fort and souk. Our host was fantastic, really attentive and was on hand via WhatsApp to answer any questions. I would definitely stay again!

This place is a gem for families. Hamsa has turned his grandparent’s farm into a wonderful guesthouse full of Omani hospitality and heart. Every kid feels loved and adored and the star of the show. My kids were pretty sure they wanted to never go home and instead move in with Hamsa, feed the goats, and play with the baby bunnies.

Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip. Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property. Around the house you can find some really cute goats.

The room was super clean. And the bed was so comfortable. But most impressive thing during my stay was the host who was very kind and attentive. Two thumps up. Highly recommended.
