From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcome. The hotel room was spotlessly clean, with fresh linens and towels. It had a beautiful interior. It felt like the room was newly renovated because of how well-maintained it was. The bathroom was also very clean, with plenty of amenities provided. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met and that I was comfortable during my stay. It was my first time in Daet and they keep answering my questions and gave me proper directions! From the front desk staff to the housekeeping, everyone was genuinely kind and courteous. Plus, the hotel is very near SM Daet which is a huge win! Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Formosa for anyone looking for a clean and friendly place to stay. The level of cleanliness and friendliness of the staff exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here again in the future.Guest review byAndrewPhilippines

Daet was very interesting with lovely, kind, local residents...
Daet was very interesting with lovely, kind, local residents. We went there to visit my partner's family and that went off well. Very interesting to see the First/Third World contrast. The SM Daet mall is excellent and well covered for all shopping needs. Unoftunately, coming from western Canada, I have a very low tolerance for heat.
