The property was tucked away from the main road, so was very quiet at night! You can tell it is a new building, as the rooms are beautiful and very clean! There is a lovely communal kitchen which we used a few times, it has everything you might need. The hosts are very responsive and kind. They have a beautiful dog named Tiger who hung out with us a lot. We loved our stay here and wish we had stayed longer!

Surigao Dream was a dream. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and their story is so interesting. The food they cook is delicious and the pool has amazing views with incredible sunset views. The Bungalows are great with their own private deck looking over the water and the beds are comfortable with plenty of room. Not far from Surigao City either, a great area to stay in when you visit.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing! The rooms were incredibly spacious and provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. Being right at the beach was a huge plus, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf during the day and watching hundreds of crabs walk along the sand in the evening. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our experience. A special thanks to Macel for his exceptional hospitality and for making our stay truly memorable. everything about this guesthouse was excellent. The owners have anticipated every possible need of their guests eg a small safe in each room for your valuables along with the more commonly available free drinking water, coffee and beach towels. The food was excellent and v good value. The rooms were spotless, large and with super comfortable beds. The beach was beautiful and there were two wonderful cabanas right on the beach for shade. We spent 5 nights here and could happily have stayed longer. It is about 45 mins north of the airport and at least 90 mins by scooter down to GL. The guesthouse has everything you could need so you don’t need to leave the grounds.

General Luna is an ideal place for surfers (from enthusiast to pro). Although, hoping my next coming will be improved) but for us working remotely anywhere, data internet is a bit challenge specially if there is a typhoon. This is near to activity and go-to places (party and food).

Transportation was convenient to and from the apartment. Very cost effective. I learned of and utilized "tricycles" and "multi cabs". This was easy for me since I was in the company of a lady who spoke the local language. I recommend use of a translator or as I did, a special friend who speaks the language. I also disagree with booking.coms 3 out of 5 review. That is a low score compared to my experience.

Nothing much but surfing. Some popular restaurants are hype. The French bakery near the Surf area serves really really good breadz croissants, sourdough and other food. The burger place we went to is much much better than shake shack. The coffee place we tried serves much much better coffee than starbucks and zus.

Burgos is a quiet place with easy access to Pacifico Beach for surfing and to the main attractions in the north, with motorbike rentals, fresh fish and fruit markets, and great restaurants that will grill the fish you buy for you.

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact...

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

I was too early for good waves, but is an amazing place! The island is so beautiful, the people is great! Is a really save place and friendly. Local vendors do not bother you. Lot of traffic, but good vibes all the time! Love Siargao

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

We spent some afternoons going around General Luna, and it truly gave us that relaxing island vibe. We visited different restaurants, and most of them have a modern island style that still keeps the local charm. You can really feel that the island is improving and growing, with new cafés, shops, and beach spots popping up, yet it still keeps its peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The people are welcoming, the sunsets are stunning, and the beaches are absolutely beautiful. Whether you’re into surfing, food trips, or just relaxing by the sea, General Luna is a must-visit destination. ✨ Highly recommended for travelers who want to experience the true beauty, warmth, and chill vibe of Siargao Island.

Only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Surigao down to Pantukan wanted to break up the long drive south ! Butuan was a very busy city and lots of traffic. smog was bad due to the heat and high volume if traffic .We only visited the mall which was like every other mall ! We went to a pizza restaurant looking for alternative and guess what they only had pizza available everything else was off the menu ! But far play the pizza was awesome and very filling ! So 10/10 guys

Surigao is recovering from damage caused by typhoon Odette. I suggest waiting a year or so before visiting here. It was rainy and windy during our visit so not fair to comment. Did not feel safe to walk around at night. We observed many blatant drug users along the Seawall opposite our hotel.
