We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The facilities were well-maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was also very convenient, being just a short walk from White Beach while still offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely book this property again for future trips. Highly recommended!

I liked everything about papa Fred's. One of the best places to stay at Sabang Beach for many reasons. Great staff,,Rose, Milan and Wheng are very friendly and helpful. There is only a pedestrian walkway in front of the hotel but that usvthe way with all hotels on the waterfront. Great AC, and strong wifi. All very clean and modern. My unit had a small kitchen. The one big plus at papa Fred's is that after about 5 p.m. it is a quiet area. Sabang Beach can be very loud until the bars/restaurants close about 1 a.m. there is a small road that leads to the beach and anything to your left as you approach the beach is in a loud zone. To the left is much better and anywhere from papa fred's to the end is a quiet zone. Do yourself a favor and book thus location....it stays pretty full. Sabang Beach is all about diving...I did 8 dives and all were close to Sabang Beach area. It is ok diving but I have seen some other spots I prefer in the Phillipines. Overall it is a comfortable spot to stay with ent if goid restaurants and papa Fred's and average to better diving.

We truly loved how kind, welcoming, and accommodating the owners were. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like their own children, always checking if we were comfortable and if we needed anything. It made us feel very safe and at home. The place itself is beautiful, beachfront, peaceful, and not crowded, perfect for relaxation. The atmosphere is calm and intimate, which made our stay even more special.

If you are into water sports then Puerto Galera is the place...

If you are into water sports then Puerto Galera is the place to be. They have it all , from scuba diving to jet ski rentals, to para sailing ! There is also an adventure sports complex, Extreme Sports, where you can try your hand at archery, crossbow, air rifle shooting as well as go carts and ATVs. Fun place to spend an hour or so. There are also many scenic locations which are worth visiting. Transportation is by motorized trike or tuk tuk which are plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly entertainment on White Beach includes the famous fire dancers which is something a little different. Many of the bars have live music and or karaoke. Plenty of restaurants to choose from serving a variety of Filipino and foreign cuisines.

San Jose is an underrated province when it comes to tourism.

San Jose is an underrated province when it comes to tourism. Upon visiting the area, it holds a lot of places to discover for hiking, swimming and biking. Just a few hours away from Manila, this is truly a relaxing place you can go to escape the hustle and bustle of the city!

Located on the island of Mindoro, this place is not as frequently visited by tourists as other locations in the Philippines. It is very peaceful here and the people and their lifestyle is more pure. Also a great place to visit when you want to dive the Apo reef.

The location was really near Robinson shopping area , staff were nice , and the place was clean the aircon and the parking is a little bit concern . Highly recommendable for 3-4 guest , we are planning to book again the location but different apartment please with good aircon and safe parking please .

Puerto Galera is an island paradise with incredible beaches...

Puerto Galera is an island paradise with incredible beaches and even better people. The whole experience is so immersive and magical, like some poverty stricken dreamscape. But DO NOT TAKE THE WEEKEND FERRY! It's packed with locals traveling to islands for the weekend. Go there on a weekday avoid Friday. Personally, we woke up at 5am for the 11am ferry and still ended up waiting in que for 5 hours, missed 2 ferrys and had to cancel scuba diving. The ferry booking system is horrendous. The que has no seats. The staff don't explain anything. Try book online days in advance. Or skip the ferry entirely and fly to an island that has an airport.

Calapan was a small city.

Calapan was a small city. But there are plenty of food chains and supermarket where you can have your needs. Although the mode of transportation in the city was tricycle, you should know the location where you are going. Some of the drivers charge higher than normal if they sense that you are new to the place. We go there for a concert so we are not able to visit their famous beaches and parks.

Indeed White beach in Puerto Galera was fantastic. Nearby Manila 2hrs bus ride then 1.5 Ferry to catch your short beach holiday with water sports activities, beach by hotel , restaurants , white sand etc all was great . Recommend this .
