Great location for hiking several trails in the area and for checking out town without actually being in town. Very comfortable stay, nicely appointed kitchen. Great having a washing machine and a dishwasher! Not many noisy dogs/roosters in the area and those that were tended to be only during daylight hours (if you stay on any of the islands this becomes important!) The house is in good repair and very good sized for two.

I didn't realise when I booked that the accommodation was brand new and had only recently opened. The room we had was fantastic, very clean, modern and thoughtfully decorated.

I stayed in thousands of different hotels and guesthouses. This is the first time that I give 10 points. The location is absolutely amazing ! Beautiful nature wherever you look. Even with the fog and the rain it was awesome. The silence , peace and calm were God sent. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable with 2 beds with good , solid mattresses. The balcony was nice for taking in the view. The heater was wonderful and provided a cozy temperature. The kettle was useful and the friendly hosts were so nice and gave us a welcome drink/snack.

Staying at this place was an absolute delight! The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcomed and at ease throughout my stay. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. The breakfast they provided was excellent, a perfect start to each day. It was evident that they put thought and care into every detail of my stay, from the comfortable accommodations to the delicious breakfast spread. Moreover, they took the time to show me around the property and offered great suggestions on places to visit in the area. Their patience with my limited French language skills was also much appreciated, making communication effortless and enjoyable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay with outstanding hospitality, look no further. This place exceeded my expectations in every way possible!

Well equipped property with full privacy and gorgeous garden with mountains view. Most of the groceries for breakfast were already in the fridge when we arrived, and a fresh bread were supplied in the mornings. The property is 10 minutes drive from Coll de Boufes trailhead which is very comfortable if you plan to hike to La Nouvelle (very recommended)

Beautiful location. A warm and welcoming host who was patient with my French and my partner’s lack there of. Small kitchenette was equipped for basic meal prep (breakfasts and microwaveable food) and a nice welcome drink. A great location if you have a car to head out on many hikes in the region. We really felt the rural and quiet setting was one of the highlights of staying in La Réunion! Although there were other tourists staying in the area, it really felt like an unassuming quiet local village and a great experience! It was cold at night and we didn’t find the space heater until the second night but there was a heater and extra blankets. The suggestions for meals were great - Chez Tania’s just up the road was one of our favourite meals on the island!
