Everything was overwhelmingly positive. The staff were incredibly respectful and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere in the lobby is charming, creating a perfect first impression. Our room was immaculately clean, and the facilities worked flawlessly throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the varied and delicious breakfast options. The outdoor pool area was a highlight, offering a relaxing retreat, as was the enjoyable experience in the thermal pool indoors. However, the unavailability of the spa area due to renovations was a disappointment, as we were looking forward to that aspect of our stay. Also, the dinner at the hotel restaurant was delightful. Another plus was the free and spacious parking, very convenient. We would gladly return once the spa renovations are complete, hoping for an even more perfect stay next time.

Very modern and good size room with adequate balcony, the bathroom was very nice, the tv was big and WiFi worked well. Breakfast was included in price with many choices. The bed was a bit hard but ok in general.

I liked everything, ON MY TASTE!!! It's a quiet place, not crowded, close to the beach, basically u have everything close. If u like a 5 star hotel to have people that serving you then it's not for you. But if u like to manage things by yourself and you enjoy tranquility and quiet places, without a lot of people then it's the perfect place. The pool is awesome also, trees, sea, sea sand, places near where u can just go by walk and eat.

We had a really great stay and felt it was definitely worth the money. The room was small, but it had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and we slept really well. Breakfast was served in a big restaurant with a lovely conservatory, which was probably our favourite part. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything tasted great.

Lovely place with good beaches, cable-car, a "Vacation" village with all kinds of restaurants, terraces, supermarkets, hotels, Luna Park, etc. with reasonable prices and friendly people. Oh, and the Sky View Bar on the rooftop of Park hotel, absolutely fantastic! )

I would not recommend Mamaia, Mamaia Nord, or Navodari for a vacation or leisure getaway. The entire seaside area has become excessively commercialized, overcrowded, and extremely expensive, while offering relatively little in terms of genuine hospitality or value for money. Unfortunately, there seems to be far more focus on maximizing profits than on creating a pleasant experience for visitors. Considering the high prices, the overall level of service and attention to travelers’ comfort falls well short of expectations. For a relaxing seaside holiday and a truly memorable stay, I would recommend considering other destinations.

Spent only a day there; do not recommend. There isn't much to see, the shipwreck is not interesting in my opinion. The walkway has no trees so it is very uncomfortable to walk in the sun without and greenery. The beach is fully packed with parasoles and people, way too crowded and aesthetically not pleasing at all. Drank a coffee at Mangole coffee kiosk, the owner is sweet and the coffee was nice. The whole town is unkempt, weed grows everywhere, the buildings and roads are not very nice unfortunately. I wouldn't recommend people to visit this town, just go to another coast and if you insist on Romania, stick with Constanta.

A good location for families with kids - plenty of...

A good location for families with kids - plenty of accessible restaurants, cantinas, grocery shops. There is only one ramp access point to the beach (South, near Belona). All the others are stairs - some in a very rough shape. You will have a hard time getting to the beach with a stroller or in a wheelchair. And going up and down the stairs every day will soon make you wish you got a hotel nearer to the beach. In the places where the beach has been extended (the entire beach with the exception of the North side, near Delfinul/Steaua de Mare), the sand is mixed with broken sea shells, not fun to walk on, hard to play with. The best thing about Eforie is the sea - it is usually very clear, mild waves, smooth sand with no rocks, very slow descent that allows even young kids to stand up in the water for up to five-10 metres from the beach line. Sure, sometimes there may be algae, medusas or small crabs after a storm, but most of the time this is where you'll find the best water on the Romanian sea side. In terms of restaurants, we always favored Mirage and Terasa cu Ancore, in the North; in 10+ years of going with small kids, these were the places where we never had issues with bad food.

Constanța is definitely worth exploring beyond the beach. The Old Town has a fascinating mix of history, architecture and cultures, but Port Tomis was my favourite part — beautiful sea views, boats, restaurants and cafés, and a lovely atmosphere, especially in the evening. It’s a wonderful place for a long walk by the sea, followed by dinner or a drink overlooking the marina.

Hotel was very ok, but Neptun was not so clean, amenities were poor, it is a pitty because with some minor investments in green spaces, clean services, parking around beach, beach clean up could, could have a very beautiful and attractive destination, as it was years ago.

The beaches were huge and there were not so many people on them, so Eforie Sud is a good choice for those who do not like crowds. There are plenty of sunbeds avaialble for rent on the beaches and the prices are from just abour 5 euro for 1 sunbed. There are many shops and restaurants, and a little amusement park was functioning in the evenings. On some days there were some Romanian folklore performances on the stage in the middle of the city. However, what we did not like was the terrible condition of some pavements / stairs. They were actually ruined in some places and you must be very careful when you walk because it is very easy to break a leg on them. They are old, full of holes and some strange metal or stone objects sticking outside. Not all of them are like that but, unfortunately, many of them. Also, some areas you go through to get to the beach are dirty. And there are no toilets on the beaches or even close to the beaches, which is really a problem.

Desolate, Abandoned, Neglected In comparison, as there is nothing to see or to do in Olimp, longer than 1-2 hours by foot, I visited Balcik—likewise in the off-season—and although it was empty of tourists, everything was fully prepared. The restaurants, the outdoor cafes and shops were open, the beach was set up, and the resort was spotless."

Mamaia has a nice and spacious beach, but unfortunately some areas are poorly maintained. In several places, construction materials and leftovers from works carried out by entrepreneurs are simply left lying on or near the beach. For one of Romania's best-known tourist destinations, this creates a very poor impression. The town hall should pay much more attention to the overall appearance of the resort and ensure that businesses keep the beach and surrounding areas clean and presentable. Mamaia deserves to look like the major tourist destination it is supposed to be, especially because it is quite expensive.
