We were hoping for our visit to Pr Smolet but it was so much more. We were away from the busy city, high on a high, looking out in every direction at a beautiful mountain landscape, the site of a simple church on the hilltop, surrounded by the lovely noises of a working dairy farm…mooing cows, a bit of machinery in the distance, birds chirping, church bells nightly at 9am, and an overwhelming amount of GREEN everywhere. It was truly a little slice of heaven. The apartment was wonderful and met all of our needs. The hosts were super attentive to us, even bestowing us with fresh farm goods. We loved watching them tend so lovingly to their farm and their family. We stayed 6 nights and each day found new Slovenian treasures to explore. Pr Smolet was the perfect place to begin and end each day.

Very sincere and welcoming hosts, the apartment is part of their farm and is located in small village on Križna mountain, very beautiful views to all directions. Breakfast was brilliant, from local products, very tasty.

Everything was great. It was the most comfortable property I have found in Slovenia. The owner is very hospitable. Perfect cleanliness. Very fresh air all around. I didn't want to leave there. There is a beautiful river nearby where you can cool off.

This is a great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely setting within walking distance of the medieval centre and rural areas. Lovely walks nearby. Getting scrambled eggs or an omelette as you please in addition to a generous breakfast spread is a very nice touch. We just stayed one night but I would like to come back and have this hotel as a base for outings in the region. Warmly recomended.
