We were pleased with the room given to us, we had a beautiful view of the beach and Mae Mae the host who helped us with our check-in and excursions had a great hospitality. The place is clean and you can sit by the restaurant, work or enjoy a drink by the beach. You can even swim at the beach. The sea was very very calm. Staff at Sunrise was extremely polite and helpful with the renting of a bike or even planning the day excursions. Sunrise is located at the center of everything with less noise. If your looking for a long stay at Koh Tao then Sunrise is the perfect place.

I stayed with my girlfriend and just had a wonderful time. I book a wooden chalet villa. The villa’s are nice. All villa are facing the amazing sea and Nang Yuan Island. The views from our villa was breathtaking and the swimming awesome and very safe. It was so romantic when you stay at night. Beds are comfy. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel that they are in true paradise, and who has some sense of adventure. I loved it, super relaxed, food was good. The resort staff is just so lovely and helpful. The owners where there during our stay, lovely people. Great Stay !

It is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in and very good value for money. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are huge and the location is perfect at the centre of Koh Tao and only a 5min walk from the pier. I recommend the massage in the resort! The friendliest staff who assist at all times. Situated directly on the beach! Eating breakfast with sand under your feet and a view of endless ocean! I really love this resort our room was a superior in traditional Thai style. The bed was so comfortable. Large balcony with table and chairs. The shower was awesome very fast and as hot as you need it. The room was very large with plenty of space. Kettle fridge and satellite TV with English movie channels. Free breakfast which was not bad at all. The resort is on the beach. The swimming pools of which there are 3 are great. 1 for children, one smallish round pool that looks to be deep I think for dive training as they also have a dive school. And the main pool which was large and also a jacuzzi pool. The gardens smell amazing with the aroma of the trees and flowers. You get 4 large towel's and 2 small in the room as well as a hairdryer, shampoo conditioner and more. The restaurant serves very nice western and Thai food and fabulous cocktails as well as the usual drinks and is overlooking the sea. The resort provides tickets for the ferry local trips they even arrange flights and more. Great location to get everywhere. They rent motorbikes that are brand new with good tyres etc for 250 baht per day and I would highly recommend using them. You definitely need a good bike for this island and also you have the security of knowing they won't try to say there are scratches etc and try to get money out of you. For the price this is definitely a place I will return too. A huge thanks to all the staff for making my boyfriends birthday very special.

A small paradise, directly at the beach, but at the end of it, so it is not loud at night. Extremely friendly staff that helped with every little request. Clean and beautiful villa. Very nice restaurant and beach area. Definitely the best place we visited during our Thailand trip.

Oh my goodness! There is no better place in Kho Tao! I had such a great time in the Cape Shark! We loved the facility and it was perfect for our stay! The kitchen allows us to have a romantic dinner, and the snorkels allow us to explore Shark Bay. We were made to feel comfortable and at ease by the receptionists. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. This place is becoming our number one favorite! Cape Shark will certainly be on our list of places to visit again
