Conveniently located in mid-town with a short walk access to Central mall, restaurants, 7-11s,.... and a 5 minute walk from the train station. A spacious, modern, bright, airy, well maintained with high-end fixtures and appliances, a huge comfortable bed, a nice shower, a safe, small fridge, tea kettle, fast wifi, and even a nice HEPA air purifier in the room. I am jaded from a lot of travel and hotel stays, but the room at Tisa way exceeded my expectations. Best value for the money ever.

The area was off the main road and across from a beautiful park with walking/jogging paths around a small lake and trails across to small islands in the lake. Due to the heat, people use the park in the early morning and at dusk. The hotel towers sit side by side so some rooms look out on other rooms and other rooms look out at the city. We did not specify but were in rooms with beautiful city views. A rooster breeder was located down below our rooms so there was a lot of crowing in the early mornings which I found pleasant but my spouse found annoying. We did not use the pool nor did anyone else as the rain came and went often so the season wasn’t amenable.

Staff is friendly, the beds are super comfortable. really good value for the money. the breakfast was fine for me, it was mostly if not all Thai food. But it was good, don't expect a huge buffet at a resort, it was maybe 10-15 options. they had 2 kinds of juice and ice cold water. Honestly for a one night stay for myself, wife, and baby it was more than enough. Room had a balcony which you could smoke on that was nice. Food delivery is super easy with grab to this hotel.

Everything was great…second time here for 4 nights. Extra large comfortable king bed with both firm and soft pillows. Oversize shower, good pressure and heat. Balcony overlooking lake with seating for two and table. Very good breakfast. Very nice and accommodating employees. Off the beaten path, so no noticeable noise. The only place that we will stay in Udon Thani.

Udon Thani is not that easy to get around without a car I walked to Vietnam town and both lakes which was very good Hired a driver to take me to some out of town places which was a great way to spend a day but quite expensive The 2000 year old rock paintings were interesting

there should be possibility to rent either bike or car locally (only in Udon Thani, at about 30 minutes away). The place is convenient, between Udon Thani and the Red lotus lake, if you have your own engine.

A lovely town in the north-east of Thailand.

A lovely town in the north-east of Thailand. Has many attractions for good quality food, both Thai and farang (including a number of high quality cafes), farang bars, a decent-sized Central shopping mall and multiplex cinema. There's a great night market area with thriving Thai food stalls, especially Train Night Market (near the station) and the nearby UD Town. All just a few kilometres from an airport which has regular flights to both Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi.

Udon Thani is a good base for exploring Thailand's Isaan (North Eastern region) rather than being a destination in its own right. It has an airport with flights to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a few other Thai destinations. Despite being styled Udon Thani International Airport, it does not currently field any international flights. The city has a reasonably compact centre with a Central shopping mall, a few foreign restaurants and plenty of Thai ones, as well as the usual Thai markets, street food and cafés. Worth a short stopover.
