We had an amazing time at Isan Golf & Adventure Hotel. The rooms were so cozy and good size. We had outdoor and indoor shower, a nice bath tub, smart TV, fridge, hair dryer, electric fan etc. We booked last minute as we were just driving around Thailand with our group of friends but we were well-taken care of. The lady that was in-charge made sure we get everything. It was late and the restaurants are closed but she managed to find one for us. The breakfast was also amazing we had croissants, scrambled eggs, coffee/hot choco, orange juice, and yogurt. There was a mixed up in our room and we got another room by accident. But the owner told us he’ll give it to us for free. We were a little anxious at first because we weren’t prepared to pay extra in case. But they were so gracious and kind. We also almost got the whole property to ourselves. We enjoyed the nice swim at their pool at night. It was all in all amazing stay!

Very handy to beach and hotel first rate, Breakfast was great. We arrived at 4am from Phuket off the Bangkok overnight bus. Good communication with hotel prior meant they we waiting for us to transfer to the hotel. They offer 24/7 service. Room was large and well provisioned, Across the road was a major shopping Mall. Conveniently located in mid-town with a short walk access to Central mall, restaurants, 7-11s,.... and a 5 minute walk from the train station. A spacious, modern, bright, airy, well maintained with high-end fixtures and appliances, a huge comfortable bed, a nice shower, a safe, small fridge, tea kettle, fast wifi, and even a nice HEPA air purifier in the room. I am jaded from a lot of travel and hotel stays, but the room at Tisa way exceeded my expectations. Best value for the money ever.

    Staff is friendly, the beds are super comfortable. really good value for the money. the breakfast was fine for me, it was mostly if not all Thai food. But it was good, don't expect a huge buffet at a resort, it was maybe 10-15 options. they had 2 kinds of juice and ice cold water. Honestly for a one night stay for myself, wife, and baby it was more than enough. Room had a balcony which you could smoke on that was nice. Food delivery is super easy with grab to this hotel.

    A lovely town in the north-east of Thailand.

    A lovely town in the north-east of Thailand. Has many attractions for good quality food, both Thai and farang (including a number of high quality cafes), farang bars, a decent-sized Central shopping mall and multiplex cinema. There's a great night market area with thriving Thai food stalls, especially Train Night Market (near the station) and the nearby UD Town. All just a few kilometres from an airport which has regular flights to both Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi.

    there should be possibility to rent either bike or car locally (only in Udon Thani, at about 30 minutes away). The place is convenient, between Udon Thani and the Red lotus lake, if you have your own engine.

    Udon Thani is a good base for exploring Thailand's Isaan (North Eastern region) rather than being a destination in its own right. It has an airport with flights to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a few other Thai destinations. Despite being styled Udon Thani International Airport, it does not currently field any international flights. The city has a reasonably compact centre with a Central shopping mall, a few foreign restaurants and plenty of Thai ones, as well as the usual Thai markets, street food and cafés. Worth a short stopover.

    of course you need to drive/ride to the pink lotus lake in december/january if you are in town. It's breathtaking early in the morning when the flowers wake up with the sun. Nightlife is very good, many food options, excellent markets near the train station. beautiful people. just chill out, and get away from bad air in bangkok.
