Please keep in mind that there is a war going on. Having said that, Vinnytsya is in a relatively safer location compared to elsewhere in Ukraine. I was actually there to visit and encourage people who are working with ministries that are reaching out to the youth of the nation. The Mcdonalds seemed to be a hub of activity, not just for food but for folks to meet and to chat and relax in the big outside seating area.Guest review byWilliamUnited States - 4.0

Maybe I am being prejudiced, but after visiting all major Ukrainian cities I must conclude that in my, highly subjective opinion Vinnitsa has not got any unique landmarks truly worth visiting unless you go there for business or personal reasons. Yes, you can go and watch the color fountain in the evening, but you can watch it on YouTube, and there are plenty of similar fountains worldwide. The same applies to the museum of retro technology. It is good, but there are quite a number of such museums around the world. Other "official" landmarks are not worth visiting, imho, be it cathedrals in the city centre (nothing too original or unique) or the remnants of the old city wall.Guest review byLeonidGUnited States - 4.0

Vinnitsa is nice to visit for those who were born there and experience nostalgia. Otherwise - there is nothing to do there. The food is overrated. There are no family restaurants that I could find on Google (with authentic food). Those we did go to are a parody.Guest review byIlonaUnited States
