- From $145.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,345 reviewsThis was my first solo trip since my husband passed away and the Bolero did an amazing job hosting me. I stayed here right in the beginning of the season so it was very quiet. Being about a block from the boardwalk the location was exceptional for hopping on and off for food or entertainment. The hotel does have a restaurant and 2 bars but I really wasn't there for that type of entertainment. The room was exceptional and clean! I got a soaking tub and there's a TV in that room and it was the perfect set up for me!Guest review byChristaPhilippines

Great beach area. Super fun boardwalk. Games & rides galore.
Great beach area. Super fun boardwalk. Games & rides galore. Lots of shopping! Food options for everyone - even if you’re not eating on the boardwalk with in 2-3 blocks (& more) from boardwalk there are plenty of restaurants. Everyone we walked by, smiled or said hello. Felt safe walking at night. Police patrolled the area well.Guest review byKellyUnited States - 2.0
By far the worst experience of my life!
By far the worst experience of my life! I've traveled around the world for the last 50 years, but I had never experienced such a terrible experience as I did at the Howard Johnson EWA ! I strongly recommend you eliminate that hotel from the listing!Guest review byHiro ShibuyaJapan - 4.0
Lack of parking was very frustrating.
Lack of parking was very frustrating. We drove around for literally an hour looking for a place to park on a Sunday. Lots everywhere were empty but there were no attendants or it was just places that you were not allowed to park like weekend closed business, even though there was plenty of parking available in their lot. And then to be out on the street where there is zero parking available it was unbelievably frustrating. We cut our trip short and left at 6:00 in the morning because I was afraid of my car getting towed on Monday morning. Street signs were vague and all of them had limited days as well as limited hours that you could park on those days and none of them without a parking permit. Nothing would bring me back to Jersey City. Nothing.Guest review byPaxton - 10.0
Be sure to bring sunscreen and shade (umbrella or canopy).
Be sure to bring sunscreen and shade (umbrella or canopy). Beach is clean and people are friendly. Family-friendly area good for all ages. We recommend is Bristol Plaza Motel. The Bristol has fun activities for kids and adults each day or evening of the week. A visit to the Aquarium on Boardwalk is a must see! Since we travel with young ones, we get a room with kitchen to avoid eating out everyday.Guest review byJennifer - 10.0

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.Guest review byReyesUnited States - 10.0

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)Guest review byVividAustria - 8.0
Seaside Heights is a good place for families.
Seaside Heights is a good place for families. The boardwalks and beaches are clean and safe. There is a beach where dogs can go, south of the boardwalk. It's not that far of a drive and we're glad our puppy could go. Recommend getting up early to catch the sunrise.Guest review byJennifer - 10.0

We have been going to Cape May for thirty years. We love it here! There’s always something new to do and wonderful old favorites to enjoy. The beach is always a big draw. We continue to love shopping, going to restaurants, eateries, wineries, and more.Guest review byLisa - 4.0
It was a good location.
It was a good location. Advertised as fully equipped kitchen, but there was nothing in the kitchen area. We had to ask for a coffee pot and coffee. Breakfast was very sparse - a granola bar and small muffin. Room was very dated, I.e., cabinet doors falling off, shower over tub.Guest review byAnonymous
