Peacefull stay, and was amazing. Room was very spatious and clean, great view over the lagoon. Dinner and breakfast had great options The pool area and spa were beautiful staff were friendly

Well appointed, lots of character

Everything was superb. We were there 3 times in 2 years :). The town is charming. Homemade granola exceeds expectations, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was the best love it and the was cleaned every day what awesome service fron the time we arrived everything was just great even the food at the restaurants beautiful 😍 staff was great friendly and very help even the security great service

really warm hearted, welcoming staff! We had an apartment with a small private pool and sea view. It was amazing!! So sad to leave after just one night. We loved Hermanus! Could spot some whales just 1 minute walking distance from the hotel :)

Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel. Diego and his wife took care of every single detail to make our stay even more enjoyable. And the cappuccino I must say is better than in Italy...!

We loved our stay so much, that we decide to cancel our next hotel - losing the money - and adding an extra night at Chateau de Marine. The location is amazing: if you like the outdoors, there is plenty to do around, or just relax and enjoy the ocean. The hotel facilities and rooms are very comfortable, and the family room is amazing. The difficult part is to drag your kids out of the room: bunkbeds, toys, Nintendo. The staff is amazing, helpful and extremely welcoming. The breakfast is simple (not basic), tasty and with just the right variety.

It’s clean and well designed

The accommodation is very tastefully decorated and it is just a short walk from the sea. The owner was nice and even gave us an upgrade. It is quite impressive how the owner managed to create multiple accommodations on the same property, while our accommodation still felt very private and unique. The area felt safe walking back from the restaurants in the early evening.

This is a beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Sensational view. Very well fitted out they have thought of everything. Breakfast was excellent also. Would have loved to stay longer .

The beautiful cape Dutch buildings in a fairytale lush green surrounding, with an actual river on the kloof and breathtaking mountainviews Good location, very comfortable rooms excellent breakfast and lovely staff!

We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this stunning place. Everything was perfect – the accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and we felt welcome from the very first moment. A huge thank you to the hosts for their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail. It truly made our stay special and relaxing. You can really feel how much care and heart goes into this place. I've been there three times, and we would absolutely love to come back and would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a luxurious, pleasant and memorable stay.

The stay was perfect. The Kleinriver is absolutely magnificent. And so is Springfontein. It is a working farm, producing some really (!) great wines. But also their hospitality is top notch. Coming back soon.

One of the best guest houses I have ever stayed in. The best value for money!!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The view from the room simply amazing! Omelette! Croissants! We will definitely come back! :)
