Good bed, AC, great food , helpful host, free water taxi to and from the ferry. Clean, new bungalows on the water. Near the water falls. Water spray to clean sand off feet.

Easily the most luxurious hotel in the island! Greeted with a cold drink, hand towel and snack, really beautifully designed and friendly staff. Lovely a la carte breakfast.

Julia is really sweet with the customers and the location is amazing! It’s not easy to reach the beach but it’s definitely breathtaking

Don't look further and book this wonderful place! Paulo and Nadja went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We are on our honeymoon in South East Asia and this was one of the highlights of our trip. The 30 min hike is absolutely worth is. There are few places in the world that are unspoiled like this place. Sunset Beach feels like a community. Every morning we got coffee at the neighboring joint and had food at another place. They even recommended us to try the other places. Truly an unique experience. For snorkeling head up to the right side of the beach (near the rocks) and enjoy the lovely coral. We will be back! Wonderful stay - we enjoyed everything about our time here. From arriving at the pier we were taken care of throughout our stay - staff were all very helpful, room very nice and comfortable with all we needed. Restaurant very good and also value with lots to choose from. Swimming pool area fantastic - lots of places to relax around from proper beds to sunbeds and an amazing view also!W

Lazy Beach is a 1 mi walk from the ferry drop off on the east side of island. The east side of the island is full of hostels and resorts and is built up quite a bit. We saw a good number of people from the east side making that walk to the west side because the beach there is much nicer, secluded, and doesn't have a lot of people. The location is absolutely worth it. And the place is awesome. A fantastic covered, very large area to hang out whether you want to be social or secluded, both work. The staff were great, the food excellent, and the beach houses were simple yet felt luxurious. Also if they know that you're coming, they will send a tractor to pick you up from the dock, though other west side places such as sunset Beach is unable to pick you up because the walk entails descending a beautiful but very steep and narrow rocky trail that can only be walked with a backpack and definitely not carrying a suitcase. We visited in March, 2023 during which time there was an extensive amount of work done throughout the island establishing very wide roads as there is apparently an extensive amount of development happening on the island. It looks as though a huge amount of money is being put into developing the island by outside investment which could severely threaten the backpacker, cool, and remote vibe that seems to attract so many people to the island. If this happens, I think it'll be a really big loss. All this is to say, get too lazy beach as fast as you can before it could change in the next few years.

The Cleanliness and Hospitality of the Staff

Beautiful setting. Great snorkeling just around the corner. Fantastic facilities. Taai , Leena, the restaurant manager were fabulous and went out of their ways to make anything that you wanted, happen. Delicious food and drinks.The chef made me a jar of his famous dragon fruit jam to take home. Leena arranged medication to come on the next ferry. I will definitely be coming back.
