I could easily write a novel about how much I enjoyed my stay at Pickalbatros Villagio Marsa Alam Portofino. Due to my late flight from Düsseldorf, I arrived quite late in the evening, but Mr. Haytham made check-in smooth and quick. He even ensured that my luggage was taken to my room, and then personally escorted me to dinner so I wouldn't have to go to bed hungry. The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to meet any request, often exceeding expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Ahmed, the waiter at the "El Khan" restaurant. If you're looking to experience authentic oriental cuisine, this is a must-visit – you won’t be disappointed. My room was always clean and well-stocked with everything I needed, and the housekeeping team was not only efficient but also genuinely warm and accommodating. The little surprises they left (see attached photos) truly added to the experience. Although I was traveling alone, I never felt alone. The team made me feel truly welcome and well cared for. I also want to highlight the reception team, who quickly found solutions to any requests I had. The resort itself is vast, but the shuttle bus service made it easy to get around. Upon arrival, I was provided with all the information I needed, and the facilities were well-signposted. For first-time visitors to Egypt like me, this hotel offers everything you could wish for, and they are more than happy to help organize any activities or excursions at fair prices. Whether you're looking for relaxation, family-friendly activities, or cultural tours, this hotel offers something for everyone. The animation team was incredibly professional, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. One memorable moment was when they encouraged an 80-year-old guest to dance, allowing her to relive her youth – truly heartwarming.

The resort offers free WiFi in the lobby. I recently stayed at Gemma's hotel, and one of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast was excellent—rich, flavorful, and offered a wide range of options that left me more than satisfied each morning. Dinner was equally impressive, with a varied menu that catered to different tastes and provided a truly delightful dining experience. The quality and variety of the meals alone make this hotel a great choice for anyone who values good food during their stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I’d like to give special mention to Mr. Mahmoud, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. We originally booked a standard room for myself and another for my family, but to our surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a suite for my family and a deluxe room for me. They even provided a beach umbrella at no extra cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised me by celebrating my birthday with a cake, making the occasion truly memorable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, especially with their outstanding service, generous upgrades, and personal touches that made our stay unforgettable.

Blend Elphistone Resort Marsa Alam is 25 km north of Marsa Alam City and 37 km south of Marina. Marsa Alam International Airport is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. A Taxi service from Airport is available upon request with against fee. Let me start with the surroundings - the area is pretty deserted, far from the city and airport, but very quiet. There is a "supermarket" outside the main entrance - AVOID it unless you are a relative of Rockefeller! The hotel has several shops on its territory with much more reasonable prices. The reception team is great, and they try their best to help you. The hotel has several separate buildings, most of which have been refurbished or renovated. My room, B-303 with a sea view, was nice and clean, thanks to Basim. The room had bottled water, tea, coffee, toiletries, kettle, and a hairdryer. The water in the shower wasn't very hot, but given the outside temperature of +30 degrees, it was refreshing. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can always find something to suit your taste. The food quality is very good for Egypt. Special thanks to Mr. Ali, the pasta chef - his sauces are really good! Another special thanks to Mohamed Alaa and Abd El Fatah - these guys are always extremely helpful and make the difference by going above and beyond to ensure guests' comfort. (If the hotel management reads this review - they really deserve a pay raise!). The pools and the beach are nice and clean, and the sunbeds and mattresses are in good condition, even though they are not new.

Pickalbatros The Palace Port Ghalib Resort provides rooms and suites fitted with modern furnishings and tastefully decorated in the local décor. All units have a balcony which overlooks the Red Sea, the pool, gardens, or Port Ghalib International Marina. The thing I enjoyed the most is the warmth of the staff, they're so welcoming and polite, they make you feel that your satisfaction is their top priority. The food is awesome and tasty and there's a wide variety of items that change every day. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are clean.

Beaches and great kind staff of the resort. The resort is gigantic, but they do have gold cars to get you around, and they are available with very kind drivers. They have 3 beaches. Two of them are rocky but you fo enjoy the sea life where you can see a lot of fish and sea creatures. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, evening entertainment and a kids' club. Fabulous hotel, recently built. We did enjoy our one-week holiday to the fullest. Everything was perfect: - friendly and helpful staff (reception, room service, restaurants, bars, beach, entertainment) - spacious and clean rooms (as a family we even got two connecting rooms and our children got twin beds, which they did appreciate) - very clean common areas (staff is constantly cleaning the floor near the swimming pools and maintaining the green areas) - 5 huge swimming pools (+ 2 for young children) - does not feel crowded at all! - live qualitative shows every evening (great artists) - friendly and discreet entertainment team - last but not least great food offer in all the restaurants. We liked the fact that the hotel has a reasonable size and that it does not exceed two storeys. Thank you all at Jaz Elite Amara for making our stay memorable and enjoyable ;-)
