This is a lovely inn/hotel, well located to visit a number of beautiful towns, including Pienza and Cortona. The place is beautifully, subtly decorated and has a warm, welcoming vibe. Cool design, new, very clean, and well maintained. Nice bathroom products. Stand outs were: the staff! All the staff were terrific, from Paolo who greeted us, to the other front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, morning and night, the chef, and the spa staff Cecilia and Tania. Housekeeping did a great job. (The gentleman with glasses who advised on wine -- a treasure!) The restaurant was exceptional, and a prime reason we'd gladly return to stay. Dinner was casually elegant with the most wonderful food. Breakfast was also delicious. Great massages at the spa. Would recommend the couples massage experience. We enjoyed the small size of the hotel, too. We stayed in winter but I'd love to stay in warm weather when you can use the pool and outdoor sitting areas.

The 4-star San Giovanni Terme Rapolano resort is located in the thermal pool park, surrounded by a large green area overlooking the Crete Senesi. This was the perfect place to relax for a couple of days in the middle of our Italy trip. Location, views, staff and facilities were amazing!

Set in the beautiful Val D'Orcia valley, ADLER Spa Resort Thermae offers over 1000 m² of indoor and outdoor swimming pools with regenerating and therapeutic thermal water, with panoramic views of the... Breakfast and all the meals were amazing. The spa was one of the best I have visited. Staff all lovely. Thank you!

Set in Montepulciano, 50 km from Mount Amiata, Nobilis Charme Relais offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Nobilis Charme Relais is a quite new (I believe they opened in Summer 2025) luxurious stay a couple of minutes outside Montepulciano. We had a wonderful stay there in a gorgeous large, comfortable room overlooking Val d'Orcia. We really enjoyed the spa with Sauna, Aroma Therapy Showers, Outdoor Jaccuzzi and the rich and varied Breakfast. Katerina at the reception made great restaurants recommendations based on our taste and took care of all reservations.

The manager, Andrea, was always available and incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay. He provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden spots in the area, which truly enhanced our experience in Tuscany. The entire team at Podere 1384 is outstanding – warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. You can feel that every guest is important here. A special thank you goes to Anetta from housekeeping, who took such great care of us when we encountered a small issue during our stay. The property is absolutely stunning – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. At times, we felt as if we had the entire hotel to ourselves. The pool area was often completely private, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings. What truly sets Podere 1384 apart is the atmosphere. The moment you arrive, you feel at home. It’s a place where you can disconnect, relax, and recharge. Every detail, from the cozy rooms to the carefully prepared breakfast, is done with love. The breakfast was a real highlight – freshly made each day and served with such care and attention. We are already looking forward to coming back and making more memories at this magical place. Borgo La Grancia er staðsett í Montisi, 49 km frá Piazza Grande og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis reiðhjólum, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. This incredible property was built in the late 1300’s and is full of history and wonderful original features that cannot be missed. Claudia is who makes Borgo La Grancia! She teaches you how to relax but is also a wealth of information about fabulous places to visit, including the handy shops and restaurants right in Montisi. Our first night she gave us a list and an incredible booklet that her father created. There are hand drawn maps, all the information you need, or, if need be, a WhatsApp message to Claudia answers any question. Also, the pool is perfect on a hot day! We hope to return!

Borgo San Felice Resort is located in Castelnuovo Berardenga in the heart of the Chianti wine district. It offers spacious rooms with antique furnishings, a swimming pool, and panoramic views. Everything. We felt super welcomed, and it’s hard to point specific things that stood out, but the overall experience was one of the best we’ve ever had.

Boutique Relais Villa Sofia er staðsett í Gaiole in Chianti, 27 km frá Piazza Matteotti og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði og verönd. Amazingly spacious and clean. Owners are absolutely amazing. Such a great place. Going through the Chianti region often, this will be my new home here. And the shower in the room is absolutely the best in Italy I have seen. Mattress on the bed is an amazing upgrade. Extremely comfortable.
