Sahara and his family run and grow the place and they look after you splendidly. Definitely recommend the Rainforest Hideaway!

From the attention to details, to the villas, food and staff, everything was perfect. Can only recommend. A big thank you to the amazing staff that did everything they could to accommodate us!

Cant stop raving about the place - just amazing. Rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Housekeeping takes their job VERY seriously. Breakfast is made to order - small menu but everything feels like it's made with love. The staff is professional and friendly (reminiscent of 5-star hotel experiences). You can just tell every aspect of the hotel is thought through. Most importantly, the location. Hotel opens up to the beachfront and the seclusion/privacy makes it feels like you're in paradise.

They gave us a free upgrade, like an apartment style building. Very swish, clean lots of space. Both fridge and kitchenette. Really good value. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, Beach only very short walk away.

The room was absolutely beautiful, and the bathroom was large and clean. The guesthouse is just around the corner from the beach, so it is easy to go for a quick swim. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a fresh king coconut. All the amenities (A/C, wifi, shower) worked great. The owner was very kind, he even arranged to drive us to Udawalawe.

The dining options include Sri Lankan and European ingredients and spices locally produced. Best time with my little family. So quaint, so relaxed, so easy and unpretentious. Everything was lovely, especially the staff.
