The Rooms where spacious and clean, and the host was much helpful indeed with travel guiding and day planning. The nature around the place was picture perfect! There is a big forest facing the entrance side of the hotel,The rooms face Rawana Caves. I had short walks from Adems Peak and nine arches during my stay.

Ella dream catcher resort provides accomodation in Ella and has amazing views of mountains and fields around the property. The guest can see train climbing the mountain from the windows. The host organised at tuk tuk ride for us from our last hotel to his one. He greeted us at the door and check in was very quick. He had tea brought to the room where we had it on the balcony admiring the amazing views. The host asked us about our next location and if he could us plan anything to ask. He brought us to the train station that evening to book our tickets and then cooked us an amazing dinner. The rooms were clean with a fan, we didn't use it as being that high up its actually nice and cool. Shower had hot water which was a bonus ! The host had breakfast ready for us early that morning and drove us to the train station. We wish we had stayed longer.

Boasting a garden, Kelburne Mountain View Cottages is located in Haputale. This property also welcomes guests with a restaurant and a terrace. The quality of service, particularly from Ravi and his team was just spectacular. Extremely responsive, proactive with suggestions and always pleasant - we would come back here just for Ravi! The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable - particularly when it got cold in the evening, the fireplace was exactly what we needed - someone was always available to ensure it was running :) The location is beautiful - gorgeous views from the cottage across the forests and some mountains. Clear view of sunrise and sunsets - very peaceful and quite ! And finally, probably the biggest highlight - the food!! Freshly cooked based on what you order with options across local Sri Lankan and Continental cuisines- it was always on point ! The first night, after a gruelling travel day the string hoppers, the curries, the sambol and the dessert was like a warm, long hug!

Everything during our stay The most things that will never got forgotten is how lovely and kind this family are, the lady was preparing incredibly delicious breakfast and she was taking our preferences for most of the items, It was unforgettable stay in which we discovered the Sri Lankan genuine hospitality, the welcoming in addition to simplicity ... the bathroom, bed, bed sheet and towels were all clean and do their job in a very comfortable way... the dining wood table and relaxing chairs were so lovely and comfy The thing that I am pretty sure of it is that family was caring about our comfort more than any other thing ... so we feel like that we were actually guests not a mere costumers....!!!
