The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

Windy Waves Kite Beach & Nature Resort is true to its name. Set in a beautiful location the huts and facilities are built from locally sourced natural materials in traditional village style (by the staff). It is an absolute treat if you like simplicity and sustainable design. The staff are warm and friendly and go above and beyond. When I left some things behind they were delivered back to Negombo at no cost. Super grateful for a memorable stay. Would love to come back.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. Beautiful location right at the tip of Kalpitiya. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Friendly staff and dogs. Beautifully decorated place to stay that focuses on sustainability, which I applaud. The food was amazingly delicious that was cooked with local ingredients. It offers yoga sessions and a boat ride to explore beyond its location.

We recently stayed at Villa Sethawadi and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place itself is incredibly beautiful, set right on the serene lagoon, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere throughout our entire stay. The service was exceptional—every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently made us feel genuinely welcomed. One of the highlights of our stay was the food prepared by their amazing chef. After dining at several restaurants in the area, I can confidently say that none matched the quality, taste, or presentation of the meals we enjoyed at Villa Sethawadi. Each dish was expertly crafted, delicious, and beautifully presented. The pool area was inviting and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. For kite and windsurfing enthusiasts, Villa Sethawadi is ideally located, allowing easy access directly from the property to the lagoon. A word of caution though—be mindful of the sharp thorns around the area, or better yet, use the hotel's own kite school service, which conveniently takes you by boat to the prime surfing spots on the other side of the lagoon. Overall, our stay at Villa Sethawadi was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Located directly on the beach in Wayikkal, Puetz Travels Beach Resort features an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy complimentary WiFi access, parking. The hotel is situated in a calm location and is very close to the beach. The room we had was very big and clean. The pool is really nice, our kid loved it. She also liked feeding Egbert the turtle! It was an excellent and relaxing (but too short😊) stay to end our trip through Sri Lanka. Thank you Markus for your hospitality and for being such a great host. You made use feel very welcome and you were very helpful.

Mayroon ang Nirukthie Beach Resort & Restaurant ng hardin, private beach area, shared lounge, at terrace sa Kalpitiya. Very charming special couple running the place. The food is fresh and delicious. The "cabana" as the beds were clean and the utilities were functioning. Lovely spacious compound located truly at the beach which is "reserved" for the guets ! Thru thr owners we got a arrangement to go on a Dolphin Safari"....Awesome !
