Facing the beachfront, Nova Maldives offers 5-star accommodation in Dhangethi and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. With a private beach area, the property also has a bar, as well as a tennis court. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. We arrived at Nova for a 5 day all inclusive beach villa stay, with the main aim for me and my partner to dive every day!! Accommodation The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The outside patio space was tiled, with a shaded double day bed. Where we chilled out after an energetic morning of diving. To the side there was a fresh water foot wash, with a sand pathway leading to a short walk to the beach. The bathroom was open air and immaculate in every detail. 2 showers, one glass walled and the other out in the elements. Dining We tried all the restaurants at the resort and were never disappointed. Soul kitchen turned out quality, as did Flames. We finished off on our last night in Mizo - which was epic. The staff were fantastic, and couldn’t do enough. Diving We dived twice a day. The dive center is very well run, with excellent local knowledge of the surrounding hot spots. The team were professional and gave detailed briefing before each dive. The boat crews deserve a mention as they really looked after you post dive fruit, coffee, water etc. Snorkelling The house reef off the main jetty was teaming with life. Lots of fish to see, rays and even the resident octopus!! Spar We had 3 treatments, a sports massage each and my partner had a hot stone massage later. Excellent treatments, and staff. We’ve been lucky enough to visit quite a few islands in the Maldives and we simultaneously said, we will be back!

At the hotel, each room is equipped with a patio with a sea view. Rooms are complete with a private bathroom equipped with a hair dryer, while certain units at Sandies Bathala also provide guests with a seating area. "Welcome to our small corner of paradise..." That's a beginning of welcome email from Sandies and it's absolut truth. The whole experiance with hresort is just highest level of phisical and soul comfort. Amazing stuff, wonderfull sand, awesome food (i've nede eat so much fish) and undescrible beauty of Maldives and island local reef. We were helped on all stages of trip preparation, on arrival, on island and on depurture! You'll be happy. I promise. P.S. Please read my notes about resort which are no even close to "disadvanteges" or "do not come here". It's just something you better to know while planning your trip.

Situated in Ukulhas, Beach Villa Ukulhas offers beachfront accommodation 70 metres from Ukulhas Beach and features various facilities, such as a private beach area, an open-air bath and a garden. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Guests can make use of the children's playground or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the sea and garden. A very small BnB with 3 rooms and very personalized caring assistance. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms with a lovely garden in front of each unit. Steps from the "bikini" beach and good swimming/snorkeling, some of the best that I did during my 5-island trip. Beach towels and lounges provided. Great communications and help in getting to the island which in the end is easy as they will arrange for your speedboat trip to Ukulhas and leaving as well, they pick you up at the port. (free of charge) Ukulhas is developing, it has a number of decent restaurants, a few small markets and a portside produce market . It is not the friendliest island but it has a bit more to offer.

Every room at this resort is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature views of the sea or garden. All rooms include a private bathroom. Everything was perfect and as was as i expected.

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Guests can make use of a garden. It's second time we visit Veligandu and first time after renovation. Everything was great. The house reef is wondreful with many turtles, rays, lots of fishes. Dive center is great providing many options even for the beginners. We took dolphin cruise and it was great experience, Food at Dhonveli restaurant (buffet) is various and delicious with some special theme every evening. The whole island is calm and great for leisure. Surely will return here again!

And we had high hopes since our first stay was excellent - they didn't disappoint at all. The staff was friendly and competent again. The cleaning of the room was superb. The food was excellent - although since this time the resort was nearly full booked we hoped to get a bit more variety on the buffet, but this was no issue for us. They even renovated or fixed the AC - it is much quieter now and very efficient. The lagoon is amazing and great for snorkeling, swimming or just enjoying the water.
