Facing the beachfront, Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives offers 5-star accommodations in Keyodhoo and has a restaurant, bar and shared lounge. This 5-star hotel offers room service, a kids club and free WiFi. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, evening entertainment and a 24-hour front desk. The kind of place that you don't want to leave from... small corner of paradise! We had spent 7 nights in the beach bungalow and enjoyed a wonderful beach view straight from our bed and tried also the Sunset Water villa for 2 nights that gave us direct access to the underwater heaven - just wow. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was fresh & delicious with a lot of varieties; amazing beach view directly from the main restaurant; luxuriant vegetation very well cured, the underwater life is very diverse, looks like an open aquarium: colourful fishes, stingrays and nurse sharks that we have enjoyed visiting every night near the diving center area. Plenty of choices for activities, we have tried snorkeling with sharks and turtles (definitely have to experience this :D)+ sunset cruise + trip to 2 local islands + dolphins. House band performing almost every night near the pool area, beach party was pretty fun. We were fortunate to see in the last evening even the bioluminescent plankton that made the ocean lines amazing. So YES, the kind of place where you definitely want to come back!

The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives is a unique blend of relaxation, socializing, and adventure, perfect for a romantic escape, a getaway with friends, or a family vacation. Each of our 115 villas, some overwater or settled on the beachfront, has its own private lounge deck and plunge pool. Spend your days exploring the natural beauty of the island, with activities like snorkeling in our protected house reef, boating, deep diving, and more. Relax and refresh with luxe spa treatments at The Standard Spa, complete with a communal hammam, aroma steam room, yoga schedule, and nine private treatment rooms. From morning to evening, nourish and refuel at a variety of dining options, from our all-day dining spot Kula to our beachside BBQ Shak or our authentic Maldivian overwater restaurant Guduguda. Then end the night in our overwater glass-floored nightclub Beru Bar where we host karaoke, movie nights, cocktail-mixing classes, and more. This is probably the most beautiful travel experience we had in our lives. The resort is even more amazing than the pictures and everyone working there is so nice and will go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible. Even though there are other guests, you get so much privacy as the island is quite decent in size and you feel like you are in your own personal heaven. Our host Koky took a great care of us and we are so thankful for that. The cleanliness is above and beyond, with housekeeping changing water and towels more than once a day. If you want to explore island, there is plenty to do. If you want to come and stay in your room without exiting for days, you can also do that with all amenities that villas provide. The days are sunny, the beaches are pristine, the nights are embellished with gorgeous starry sky. The house reef is beautiful with great biodiversity. We would see so many fish around at all times. We even got lucky and saw some mantas. The main advice we would have for others, though, is that if you are traveling with kids or elderly, you should book a beach villa, as overwater villas have so much coral around which is much better for activities such as snorkeling, than swimming as the entrance is down the stars which can be slippery. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. We also enjoyed Joos cafe nearly every day, and had some great snack options. BBQ Shaq is amazing for dinner, with some of the best stake we’ve ever had. The only thing we wish we did differently is to book Gudaguda restaurant earlier,as by the time we requested a reservation, it was fully booked. Overall, this place is truly amazing.

Offering a wide range of treatments, Kurumba Spa proposes the unique Dhivehi Beys treatments, as well as both modern and traditional treatments. Wonderful experience staying here. The pickup from the airport, the boat transfer, the check in at 11:30pm at night all was great. The Ocean front villa was beautiful, well kept. The snorkelling just off the back door with alot of fish around and the water so clear and pristine. The brekky buffet spread was huge and everything was great quality. The Cafe and restaurants were great. The staff are so welcoming friendly and warm and well trained. Make you feel tended to. The Dolphin tour was well organised and the boys on the boat were so helpful and accommodating and we were able to see Dolphins. The Shark/Sandbar/Reef tour was amazing too, with the Watersports boys friendly, helpful and ever so accommodating. The small things such as scented towels, the custom flip flops and a letter/reminder the night before check out to fill in the online departure form, allowing a free boat ride to the airport again the next day to pickup family. THANK YOU- To our host Shrea, who I just couldn’t speak more highly of, not only for everything she did to make our stay easy, stress free and memorable, always with the nicest of smiles and a beautiful nature, but more importantly for the truly special relationship she built with our son. He absolutely adored her, would run to her if he saw her near by and wouldn’t want to let her go. Would call her name around the resort, and just couldn’t wait to see her. Shrea would also go to the kids club to see him whenever she could, a friendship that was magical to watch! To all the amazing people at the reception, that were always happy, helpful and were super patient, as our toddler would try to get into the back office to say hello to everyone, all the time. Shout to Cynthia, who was another of our son’s favourite ppl! To the two beautiful ladies at the Bageecha restaurant that greet you morning, day and night with the most genuine and warmth of smiles, setting you up to have a great day. To the countless waiters and all round stuff at the restaurant, who are constantly going above and beyond, and were a life saver entertaining our toddler at meal times, and even offered to make different food for him. To the man that looked after our villa’s housekeeping, going above and beyond making sure our villa was clean, comfortable and restocked. To the Araamu spa staff, who run a beautiful spa with super talented masseuses, we had 2 couples massages and are the best we have had to date. Also shout out to the beautiful lady that seats near reception where you can book the spa treatments, always happy, smiling and genuinely interested in knowing how your stay is going. To Joyce, the baby sitter that looked after our toddler a few hours every day, that took him on many buggy rides (a highlight of his trip) and to the entire team at the Wavy Navy kid’s club, my son would literally run from our villa to the kids club, so excited to go there.
