Unfortinattelly sea not good for swimming. It is very dirty.

Every thing was perfect , location restaurants , pool , kids activities , helpful staff and kindness , we felt that we stayed in our house . Special thanks for mr Mohammed pool staff for advices , and mr Imran for always asking if we need any thing .

Featuring outdoor pools, a mini waterpark, two slides and a whirlpool in landscaped grounds, Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang is a four-star property in the centre of Batu Ferringi Beach. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The staff were amazing from the cleaning staff to the receptionists and waiters. Very professional and willing to help with any requests. Resort itself was very clean and has many facilities from shops to pools and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and had so many options and cuisines. Well worth any added price. We didn't even want to leave the resort but the beach was only a few steps outside the pool area and there were buses to Georgetown to make things even better. Our server Charles at the bar and grill restaurant was also excellent and the food was very delicious. Definitely a holiday to remember.

Very peaceful location with beautiful gardens and trees on the sea.

Private parking is also available on-site. The staff are outstanding - friendly, efficient, courteous and totally service focussed. I was working so didn’t use any of the facilities but the pool looked great. Breakfast was of high quality and had something for everyone’s tastes. Great spacious rooms and and super comfy beds - loved the Nespresso machine
