They are running this very homey resort with a great sense of hospitality, always ready to answer our needs and giving advice or just simply having a chat with them because they really are great people all-around. And then you'll also be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the small island village with turquoise water and bird singing and can do a star gazing session while in the swimming pool in the evening. Thumbs up to Virly also for her delicious and homey cooking (we loved the baracuda fish). If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to rest in total simplicity, this place is just made for you.

The accommodation offers a tour desk and free WiFi. Private service of top quality, we were directly assisted by the owner, we were treated with the best, honest and caring services. The diving experiences with them, both with the whale sharks in Oslob as with at their own house reef could not possibly be better.

We have an amazing coral reefs around 130 mtrs. from shoreline. And a huge outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and a beautiful landscape. Free WiFi is available in the resort and a free parking area inside the property. The cleanliness, the way staff helped us and were nice, the fact that everything you need is there: restaurants, motorbike rental, canyoneering, pool and the view. The room was clean, had hot water and snacks/drinks. It was by far our best stay during our entire trip!

At the resort the rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a bidet, free toiletries and a hairdryer. All rooms will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. For a Singaporean, this meets the comfort and service level that I was hoping to have in Moalboal. Most accommodations are not as modern or clean (based on pictures), which is understandable as it is a developing municipality. I was impressed with the following: - Staff are super nice and helpful. We also spoke with the owner and his wife, and they are lovely people who travel a fair bit, and have implemented high standards on their property. For example, they work very hard to provide clean water to the rooms (shower/ tap), and in Moalboal, this requires a lot of filters and hard work. - The bed is comfortable, and the area is quiet yet very central to very good cafes/ restaurants. Clean kettle. Modern TV with netflix/ amazon prime/ airplay. There is a fridge + water dispenser! Aircon is great & adjustable (and bonus that it's not directly blowing into your face but positioned away from the bed). - The compound and the rooms are really clean and well scrubbed down daily (we saw the housekeeping team in action and taking their work very seriously). - There are areas to wash down your sandy feet when you come back from the beach. - They have a rack for you to sun your wet clothes outside the room! - The laundry service is great, we saw the staff hand washing our clothes & sunning them well. - They provide great quality life vests and snorkel equipment. - The cafe beside them (westcost cafe moalboal) serves great coffee & food. - They provide very comfortable transport (via another company) to take you to and fro cebu city. (ours was a big toyota car with good suspension for the testy cebu roads) - This hotel only has 8 rooms, so you need to be lucky to snag a stay with them. They also have 2 cute sausage dogs! Couldn't recommend this place more, and of course we left a generous tip. Thanks a lot guys!

Situated in Santander, 2.9 km from Mainit Port Beach, Southseas Beach Resort and Dive Center features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The resort provides pool views, an outdoor pool, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Very welcoming staff, excellent team of divers. The location is remote, but that’s diving resort. From other side it’s 10 mins from the port. The rooms are spacious and done with attention to details and with good quality materials, the whole property is new. You can take a puddle board for free as well as snorkelling items. The team can organise canyoneering and sardine run trip as well . Overall very good stay and divings, absolutely recommended.
