Located in the heart of the Pinhal de Ofir, between the river and the sea, this hotel with its timeless architecture has two outdoor swimming pools where you can enjoy contact with the Pinhal de Ofir.... Everything was perfect! Laid back vibe with extremely friendly staff!

All the staff at this resort were so friendly, accommodating and always available for anything we needed. I have never seen a dining room as well organized as the breakfast buffet at this resort. Most efficient by all the workers and managers. A table was never sitting with dirty dishes for more than a few moments and then it was cleaned and ready for the next customers. Fantastic staff. The hotel grounds are beautiful , the rooms are very plain but adequate and the beds clean and comfortable. Location is great because the Free bus that takes you to Apulia and Esposende stops there so you can visit either of those cities. The town of Fao is within walking distance and has a nice riverside boardwalk and some very nice restaurants. The hotel pool is huge and if you like the beach better, it is just steps away.

Located in the Vilar de Mouros Natural Park, Prazer da Natureza is an 8-minute drive from the centre of Caminha. First off, the room itself was fabulous with a large bed and also a sofa as well as the mini-kitchen facilities, and a nice deck with chairs for sitting outside although for much of our visit we had rain. Also the path to the pool and spa were easily accessible. The spa facilities themselves were fabulous, with a large heated pool, a nice hot sauna and a Turkish bath that was amazing. I also treated myself to a Jacuzzi and a nice massage both of which were perfect for me. Breakfast is in the main restaurant. We took the opportunity to explore the area walking and scootering about. The nearby town is quaint with some lovely restaurants and really interesting features like the old Roman bridge that is still in use to this day. We also had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was delicious.
