Great experience, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend.This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway.The resturant menus options are an excellent value. Gamra Omrani from Al Yamm makes the restaurant experience overall a pleasant place . I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits.

The facility was obviously old and needed a revamp (boat and villa’s furniture and exterior). Plunge pool of the villa was not cooled and too much work in progress around the resort disturbing the view and the quiet.

The location and the staff were amazing, everyone very caring and accommodating.

There was not enough privacy for the private pool Breakfast was excellent, there are many types of elements there, however, I expected to see additional cheese and olives types on the buffet. (This is my personal idea according to our taste)

First, we thank all staff and to Mr George, for their kindness, hospitable and helpful attitude. The journey from the mainland to the island started on time. Staff worked harmoniously to fulfil all the requirements and snug down the customers. Both jetty's guesthouse hospitality was excellent and satisfactory. Once we reached the island's jetty, they professionally diverted all the customers to their vehicles to reach their facilities on time. Transportation between the facilities is comfortable, and drivers informed us about many things about the island's nature, history and environment. Once we reached reception, they treated cold towels, fresh fruit juice, and a complimentary short but effective massage to relax the guests. Afterwards, the staff who were already with us started explaining what we could do on the island while we were filling out the form about check-in. The facility's reaction to requests is swift; we could not find time to consider our request for the second time. The informed duration against any kind of request was sharp and reasonable. We felt comfortable about the service and suggestions they advise according to our necessity. The rooms were clean and well-decorated, and everything was in place. The pillows and beds were really comfortable to rest properly. The coast was nice enough, and the private infinitive pool was cool and clean. We also tried the hotel's pool, which was cool and clean despite the hot weather. Restaurants' of the facilities were nice, and the dishes were delicious. The nature of the island mixed nicely with the hotel; while we were walking around after dinner, we walked between the plants, lovely smells of flowers and cute animals which are not harmful to humans and which do not come closer. We selected safari as an activity, and it satisfied us. In conclusion, we were happy to stay there, and we are sure we rested and enjoyed ourselves truly.

Breakfast was very disappointing. I'm sure this resort has had its challenges with Supply Chain but for the price paid for 1 night (over 3k AED) I would expect more choices and fresh fruits and bakery compared to what I experienced for lunch and dinner.

Location was great, rooms were exceptionally clean, staff friendly and lunch and dinner was amazing. Kris, the chef at Amwaj Seafood restaurant was an amazing chef. We called him over to speak with him and was very pleased with his amazing skills in the kitchen. Best seafood I've had in a long time

The villa we stayed in was very nice and adequate inside. However, the pigeons roosting on the roof made a dreadful mess of the outside areas which were unusable because of the smell and mess. The villa pool was also unusable as it was always dirty looking - even when it was cleaned one evening it was dirty by the next morning. so next time i would opt for no pool and a villa without the pigeons.

Location is just beautiful - having the animals all around in such a natural setting was fabulous. The resort is pleasant, food was delicious, staff were very pleasant and helpful - if a little disorganized!

In pool of our villa were swimming ducks and in the morning cleaning guys were washing brooms after removing the poo exactly inside the pool! We notified management of risks to get cervicosis or gelmints or god know what (imagine for pregnant!). So they emptied the pool and were fulfilling it additional day - we lost to have normal rest we paid for! After this accident the cleaning stuff continued to clean their brooms in other villas pool avoiding coming close to us. After second and third notification management bought new broom which the cleaning guy just replaced instead of using different kits for poo and for water where people swim!

Place is quiet and spacious so guests arriving with kids do not make much disturbance. Stuff is quite polite and friendly (even absolutely not organised and helpless). Food is quite good in quality and taste with fair price

The rooms don't have any privacy. We were first put in Villa 18 which has NO privacy at all. Anyone walking on the path or sitting (outdoors) at the restaurant can easily see in the villa if the shades are open and the entire back area is exposed from all directions (restaurant and path to one side, and other villa to the other side) - this is 100% unacceptable and needs to be fixed. We asked to change rooms and luckily enough, they were able to move us to villa 25, although it took around 1.5 hours for this move to happen. We weren't able to unpack and feel settled until around 6PM. Villa 25 was a bit better but the right side is fully exposed to the neighboring villa - I don't understand why there isn't something to block it - bushes, a fence... anything. There is zero privacy which defeats the purpose of getting a villa. Anyone can easily see everything in and around the villa. Customer service is SO slow... everything takes so much time to finish. A simple question takes 10-15 minutes to get answered. There is so much staff everywhere but they are all super slow and take forever to get anything done. From ordering water to the room, coffee at breakfast.. everything takes so much time to finish. Not a very premium experience for such a premium resort.

The island is gorgeous and the safari was incredible. The safari guide (I forgot his name) was EXCELLENT. He truly made this stay worth it. The buffet breakfast was impressive as well, good variety and decent quality.

coordination and administration was chaotic. staff in Olio restaurant are very untrained and got many orders wrong. The lighting system is not working properly.

Great hotel overall, but not for the money I paid. rooms are comfortable and nice. overall facilities not up to the standard for what I paid. food was excellent. the animals around give a great atmosphere.

This is not a 5 Stars hotel, the place is both overpriced and overrated. The beach is not a great deal, it is almost unswimmable. The island itself is a big disappointment: largerly overrated. Safari is underwhelming, it does not make any sense to spend money for it.

The infrastructure starts to show signs of wear and tear. The level of service is not what one would expect from an ANANTARA. The quality of the food was mediocre. Half of the island is under construction and you can watch the trucks and the bulldozers from the "serenity" of your expensively paid veranda - even on Christmas day !!!

The island is nice, and the location is good. The original architecture is beautiful and fits with the environment. Most of the staff is making great efforts to provide the best service. Some of the activities on the island are very exciting

We all really loved the hotel and the island. The staff was superb, from reception and the lady in the bar to the chef and the staff at breakfast. A big thank you to housekeeping who made a magnificent birthday setup for us in the villa very quickly while we were at breakfast. Room service came quickly and the gentleman who did our turn down service was also very helpful and looked after us. The villa was stunning with an upstairs dining area and glorious views over the sea. I would also definitely recommend doing the safari to see many unusual animals. We hope to visit again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay truly memorable.😍
