Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHmmmm… nothing. Its not the cheapest of course, but it is nice. If you want somewhere less nice and in a busy city area, go to the microcentre.
Lovely building, good bed, decent sized room (room 12), yoga room available upstairs for use, sometimes classes. Homemade, veggie breakfast. Chilled atmosphere. Staff are down to earth and help however they can. Little bar open at night, swimming pool when its hot. Pleasant neighbourhood.

GermanyHaving to leave.
Casa Caravan is the best hostel I ever stayed in in any country. The location is great, the place is very clean and well taken care of and the vegan breakfast is a welcome and healthy change from the usual hotel food. However, the highlight has to be staff: everyone is suuuuuuper nice, fun and helpful, it really feels like hanging out with friends that just so happen to run a hostel. Dani even went to her own house, just to grab some oat milk for me, since they didn’t have it in the kitchen. That energy attracts other open minded people, so the other guests are also pretty awesome and you’ll quickly make new friends here. Honestly, I loved my stay!

United States of AmericaThis was our favorite stay of the entire trip! We booked a private room at the hostel and loved the location right in the heart of Palermo. The hostel was able to coordinate transportation for us from the airport and we arrived smoothly. The room was absolutely wonderful with a small balcony, close to all of the wonderful restaurants and attractions of Palermo while being on a quiet street. Everyone at the hostel was incredibly kind, offering suggestions for different restaurants, things to do, etc. within the neighborhood! Would highly recommend staying here while in Buenos Aires!

This hostel is excellent. I went there as a mature, single traveller and found it to be very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a great communal atmosphere, with interesting courses such as yoga. The breakfast is excellent, the downstairs main area is a lovely, light, comfortable space. Great location as well, with an superb jazz club, 2 doors down and loads of bars and eateries within easy walking distance. The word 'hostel' has certain connotations when you get older, this certainly isn't the case here.

GermanyThis place is such a gem. From my experience as a female solo traveller, I felt so lucky to have booked here. Not only is it a beautiful house with great interior design, super nice pool and tasty vegan breakfast, it is especially an amazing place to connect with both locals and other travellers. I was waking up looking forward to have breakfast while meeting new interesting people or chatting in English or Spanish with the super friendly and fun staff. In addition there is also the possibility to book into a yoga class or attend an event hosted by Casa Caravan if applicable during your stay. It is located in a great area of Buenos Aires, but also the fact that there is always staff available at the reception makes it easy to check-in even when a flight is delayed like in my case. Staying here made my trip to BA even 10 times better and I loved to experience the Argentinian hospitality by staying in the Casa Caravan. Overall, I can only highly HIGHLY recommend booking this amazing place!

United States of AmericaI wasn’t fond of ringing the front door bell to have the front desk receptionist open it for me whenever I left the building but it did provide a sense of security.
The atmosphere was clean, calm and peaceful. The flowering vines cascaded down the courtyard walls and in the pool area and served as beautiful floral greenery all around in the back outdoor garden space . The room was beautifully decorated with some retro and rustic accents which artistically blended together. Everyone was friendly and the owner,Giana, was very accommodating. The breakfast was a delicious assortment of vegan offerings which were homemade.

United States of AmericaCan’t think of a single thing
I was thrilled to walk into Casa Caravan - I had a long flight from the States and arrived late but the staff was so helpful and kind and made me feel at home immediately. I met so many amazing solo travelers here who joined me for excursions around the city but ended up spending more time than I thought in the hostel itself due to its peaceful vibe and beautiful backyard. Could not think of a single thing I would change - everything was meticulously thought through, down to individual baskets in the bathroom for toiletries and a yoga studio on the roof. I will be staying again when I return for my flight home, and would highly recommend this well positioned hostel for anyone wanting to explore Buenos Aires but also have a comfortable home to return to.

There is a yoga shala you can use and they also offer classes. I loved it so much! I liked that it is small, it is quiet and with many little details. Just special and everything prepared with love. From arrival to departure everything was so lovely. The host, Dani, her staff and her volunteers were so caring and attentive. I really enjoyed breakfast around the table with staff and fellow travellers and also the outdoor patio in the evenings. My room was such a treat, I had a private and it was luxurious. The location was very handy as well. Palermo Soho has a lot to do and see and the metro is close by.

United States of AmericaStaff were wonderful, incredibly helpful, very patient with my anxiety about visiting a city alone that I have never been and not understanding any Spanish. Felt very safe with the location, great breakfast, very clean. The first night, I was little cold so I took out the sleeping bag I brought, didn't want to bother anyone late at night. House cleaning noticed it next day, left extra blankets in my room, I didn't even ask. Very thoughtful. Everyone was very kind. Oh... awesome yoga class at the rooftop yoga room.
