We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Good location. Great swimming pool - very clean. Big rooms and exceptionally comfy beds. Good free WiFi throughout hotel complex. Rather ‘aged’ facilities but very clean and good value. Would recommend.

CroatiaThe hallways were dark. The toilet was old and crooked. The AC could not be adjusted. Also the location was a little far from other restaurants though there were 3 or 4 close by.
The room was nice and clean and had air conditioning (though unable to adjust the temp). Shower was hot and water pressure was good. Restaurant was good. Breakfast was good and the pool was a nice bonus. Location was also good because it was so close to the three borders, though farther from other restaurants.

United StatesRooms need to be updated. The air conditioning in the room barely cooled. During the day the room was hot and humid. The hallways are not cooled, only a small section in the lobby was cooled. The restaurant service was not good, it was extremely slow and the food was mediocre at best. Food in the pool area was not good.
It’s old fashioned and decorated with lots of wood. Breakfast was okay, could be improved by adding bacon, sausages, etc. Decaffeinated coffee would have been nice.

SwitzerlandBE CAREFUL, THIS HOTEL IS NOT 4 STARS! much under quality. We had issues with the very poor communication, nobody answering our several questions we asked (and reminders) to plan our stay, incurring in high costs afterwards. The staff knows the answer but they simply never answered. Our question was how much must we pay once we arrrive, they simply answered what the exchange rate, and they didn't state the commissions and taxes increases the price more than 30% than what is written in booking. The staff didn't say sorry, on the other hand they were obstinate. In general this hotel is not at all 4 stars, quality in general is not optimal and the room card didn't work some times.

United StatesThe TV with a dangling cable did not work; when they fixed it the stations suddenly stopped working; nor was there enough paper in the bathroom; when we came back from the falls we had no towels to bathe in; employees don't seem happy and are not friendly; breakfast below average. After 6 there is nowhere to have a drink; the restaurant closes and does not reopen until 8 pm; which forces guests to walk to the center to find where to eat; The internet works at times and most of the time not even that, which forced us to use data and calls to be in contact with our country. I do not recommend it at all
