I booked a bedroom with private bathroom and overall was a good stay, only it is 15min from town center, and the path is a little inclined.

Kitchen hours are 11-23 and rooms, if fully booked, are a bit small. The facility has no water reserve, water was missing in the city the night we arrived and we couldn't shower, flush the toilet or brush our teeth. The staff just informed us without being sorry or offering a partial refund.

Common room was nice, the pool table was gorgeous. Breakfast was abundant even if not varied.

The rooms were a bit cramped without too much space to move around. 6 people were packed into a small space without enough lockers. Also, the shower worked great and had hot water but it made a HORRIBLY loud noise the entire time it was on...

There's a great common area with some couches and a pool table. The breakfast is served early which is great for heading to the glacier in the morning and the sheets were clean, although you had to put them on yourself. The location was great for us because as backpackers we were walking from the bus station, but the main town is about a 15 minute walk away. If you want to be in the center of the town, it would be better to stay somewhere else.

The only thing I could say is that it’s a 15-minute walk to the city center, didnt bother me too much.

Very good quality for the price, one of the cheaper hostels in El Calafate. Beds are comfy and the included breakfast (bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, cornflakes) is a plus. Very friendly staff at reception. They let me chill in the hostel after checkout the whole day and evening before my 3am bus.

It is a bit far from the city center (15-20 min walk) and nearby there are basically only other hotels/hostels. Our shower curtain was broken and sometimes we had a bad smell coming from the bathroom.

The staff was very friendly. The hostel has a nice communal space and good WiFi. It was a standard hostel, met our expectations.

The room and bathroom was not very clean and in the night it got really cold - I was in room C1.

The shared bathroom has a very very small bath in with a shower over the top. I slipped and banged my head and afterwards felt like just a normal shower cubicle would be safer and more accessible. Some of the areas felt a bit tired and the location isn't central (although it's not far to walk into town)

Thought the staff were friendly and the shared spaces and rooms were cleaned daily. We were given clean white sheets and the beds were small (we're over 6ft) but comfortable. The WiFi was amazing and the breakfast was pretty good but basic. Guests were respectful

Ladder for bunk beds wasn't great, someone took my bed and I had top bunk after it was dark and hurt myself on the ladder, they should be more permanent not removable? Everything else was fine, mattress in first room a little thin, 2nd room was good

The 6 bedder room is cramped. Storage space is below the lower bunk bed, making it hard to access. There was only 1 ladder to be shared among 3 top bunk bed users. Location is far, though still walkable, distance from town area where the restaurants and grocery store is.

We had problems with the laundry service at the beginning and the kitchen doesn't have any spices or oil, so it's hard to really cook something, but otherwise everything was good.

The location is relatively close to the bus station and breakfast is included. Our room had its own bathroom and was clean.

A bit far from the centre (some 15 minutes) and upper bunk beds were kinda difficult to get onto, apart from being overly shaky.

Nice dorms and shared areas. Good kitchen although a bit crowded given its size and the number of guest. Nice breakfast. Could leave our bags for one week while in el chalten. Good location close to bus station and not far from center.
