Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Mattress smelled funny, no fridge in the room, overall not so fresh as we expected for a 4 star hotel (there was such a sign by the door)
Location was nice, breakfast was great (although coffee not so great) and our family room was huge.

We had to look for a parking place around.
Perfect position, good breakfast, very clean. You should be just lucky to find a parking place.

There's only a WiFi network problem. It was not easy to log in without the hotel's staff help and then it worked really badly. I had to use my mobile data.
This is my second time in Central Hotel Löwen and I'm always satisfied with their apartments and service. This time I had a room with a nice city view on the old town of Feldkirch. It was a clean, cozy, and calm room with a private bathroom. I also liked the size of it and how it's light during the day.

The only thing that annoyed me was the vending machine that got my water stuck.. I got it in the morning, but.. I would have liked it in the evening 😁 (this might be just my bad luck - whenever I buy something from a vending machine, in 90% of the cases my purchase gets stuck)

The shower water pressure could have been better and the room had some stains

The room was too warm for 3 people so we had to open the windows to make the temperature just perfect though that meant we had to listen to the cars and people outside when trying to sleep. I find the noise relaxing in a way but i can see others having trouble with it.
The beds were very confortable and the room had an amazing view! Plus, it had everything we needed for a sightseeing trip.

It was actually really good but there was no mini bar or fridge. And there were people sooo loud smoking and playing loud music that my kids couldn't sleep and i couldn't open the windows because of the smoke

Reception on arrival wasn't good we arrived late and did not have local currency. They were not understanding and were will to cancel our booking. It caused a lot of stress. We were judged based on previous experience. The temperature was high in the rooms

In center of the town, so some issues with parking, however the staff was very helpful in providing a parking spot right away (10 EUR/night - limited supply. Public parking available - 17 EUR/night, off hours free public parking available - however all places were taken). If you go around the corner, there are plenty of restaurants around - in summer with sitting outside. Beautiful stroll in a medieval town possible. The rooms are not super insulated sound wise from one another, but it was no problem. The value for money was great. The breakfast was more than what you would expect in the price range. There was no air conditioning, but the rooms were ok temperature wise.

This hotel claimed that they provided 24hour front desk service and luggage storage. However, when I want to store my luggage there after I checked out, they said the staff will off at 2pm so no one will be there anymore. They required me to take my luggage back by 2pm. This is nonsense. More worst is, at 12pm they called me back and asked me to take my luggage back immediately as they are off now. I don’t understand what they are doing….Plus, the Wi-Fi connection is so bad. I won’t recommend this hotel
