Perfect location with a wonderful view on the mountains and the castle, Hohensalzburg. We didn't have particularly nice weather, but the view was wonderful nevertheless. The hotel has it's own parking, which is very convenient if you travel by car as we did. The building sits in a calm area, surrounded by school buildings, so it's really calm. Breakfasts were perfect. I love me some good hotel breakfast and, oh my god, did this place deliver :D Hotel room - we had a small room, but it was comfy. Clean, comfortable beds, just the pillows were a little too big. But that's really just a minor thing :) Staff - very nice and helpful. We maanged to lose one of our room key cards and they gave us another one on the spot, with no additional fee.

The location of this hotel is amazing with an incredible view to Hohensalzburg Fortress. The reception staff is welcoming and friendly. We will come here again.

The air conditioning couldn’t be turned on until May apparently but it was so hot when we were there - high 20’s - so was too hot in the room, and hard to sleep in. There was also no fridge which would have been great to have to keep waters cool etc - especially in the heat !

Really close to the old town, could walk right in. The room and hotel in general was super clean with friendly staff. Room was small but fit for purpose!

Our door from the room got broken and it took them 2 hours to give us solutions which at the end was to change the room, we had plan an excursion and we lost 2 hours that day and they didn’t offer any compensation. Not very accurate on resolving issues

Would have preferred a do not disturb/clean the room sign for the room so cleaners know when they have access and to know whether the room still needs cleaning.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Irene at breakfast. The breakfast was really lovely, - fresh good quality food, very tasty and great selection. The food in the bar was also very good. Great location, with beautiful close views of the Fortress and mountains.

These days can get 4* anybody. This hotel is remotely comparable to other 4* hotels we have stayed already. Rooms are really small. No real space for luggage, or for clothes. This supposed to be sport and kids friendly hotel. Forget that you come with 2 big sport bags. Because you will need to live from the bags and there will be no place to walk. As a parents forget about crib. I don’t think it will fit into a room. When we came, I had to swipe a floor. It was dirty. Bed and bathroom were overall clean. But on pillows were no protectors. I hope they change and clean pillows after every guest. We requested “no cleaning during the stay”. But cleaning lady came anyway. 🙁 And I had to clean the floor in the bathroom again- it was so dirty. Workers were loudly working outside of the hotel from seven in the morning. Not really pleasant. Next time I will choose another hotel for the money I spent.

Hotel is 30 min by walk from city center. If it is not raining, it is great walk by foot back and forth.

Pet charge should be listed on the website, 15 per day, per pet is high. With that, parking & taxes, it was 90 euro more. Otherwise, the hotel is amazing!

Nothing to complain, maybe it could be cheaper since it was not so close to city center.

The room was very nice, especially the shower. The toilet was located in a separate space with a door. It had a balcony and the bed was very comfortable.
