Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Belgiumroom equipment somewhat modest for a four star hotel, although ok
Excellent breakfast, nice view on the mountains, very good bed, very helpful staff, good city connections using the courtesy Innsbruck visitor card, good location altogether for an intense city visit.

United KingdomJust missing a cooler/mini bar in the room!
Loved everything about this hotel. The room was gigantic, the bed was comfy and so were the pillows. The lighting is really lovely, just like the photos show. The views are great, overlooking the mountains. The breakfast is amazing and so is the staff. It's located within walking distance from the main station and the city centre. They also gave us a Welcome card which gave us free access to public transport and 20% off cable car journeys! We're staying here again next time we're in Innsbruck for sure!

AustraliaExcellent set up for a family with older or adult children as the rooms for 3 people are two rooms, each with its own bathroom but with a shared entrance. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good.

Belgiumthe combination of reception and bar in one space is not particularly enjoyable during the evening.
Perfect 4 star hotel for a citytrip to Innsbruck, including the location not too far from the center of the town (with regular and free public transport if you do not mind the 20 minutes walk). We really liked the modern design of the hotel based on traditional style. Friendly staff. Like every guest: the exquisite breakfast

United States of AmericaThis hotel is under the flight plan for Innsbruck Airport. You do get the noise if you want to relax in the room but it stops at 10:30 PM. It starts up again at 06:30 so no sleeping in. Earplugs do help. The hotel conserves energy but to do so the AC shuts off every 3-4 hrs. You can't get a good night's sleep when the AC goes off and the room gets hot and you have to get up to reset the AC. I understand the energy issue but it is still uncomfortable To open the window lets too much light in.
Close to train station. Mostly quiet. Modern. Good food. Nice staff.

GermanyLocation is a bit off. A bit scary to go out just for a walk when it's after the sunset. E.g. there are no restaurants around
Spacious room with a view to the mountains from both windows. Good breakfast that also offers meals à la carte. The hotel is close to train station. Finally, price includes public transport tickets

GermanyWe have no complaints. Parking is perhaps a bit expensive.
High quality, modern and nicely designed rooms with a natural wood touch. Beds were very comfortable! Staff members were very friendly. Breakfast was included in our rate and was served in a cozy wood-paneled room. It was excellent. Main dishes (eggs, pancakes, waffles) could be ordered á la carte and the rest taken from a buffet. Wide selection of ripe fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice available. Location was also good with just a 10-12 minute walk to the central part of town.

United KingdomThe towels were new, which was great but should of been washed first as they left fluff everywhere. Staff should make customers aware that the sauna is mixed and people can be completely naked . I would recommend that there is a booking system for the sauna facilities to avoid customers feeling uncomfortable. We loved the vending machines, but they should take notes as we didn't always have coins.
The hotel is lovely and is situated in a central location. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and accamdating . The breakfast was lovely, especially the freshly squeezed juice.

United States of AmericaThe air conditioner shut off automatically after approximately 5 hours and had to be started again. This was an issue overnight because the room got warm when the air conditioner was off, and I woke up overnight each night and turned the air conditioner on again, so sleep was disrupted each night. Also, I would recommend adding a mini fridge in each room.
Breakfast was great! Transit pass was very helpful, and the train around town was easy to use. Also liked having on-site parking.

IsraelThe drapes don't fully close in the bedroom, allowing too much sunlight in. The windows face the street which was a bit noisy. The fitness room (that has 2 fitness devices only) cannot be used, it is placed near the sauna and has no air conditioning, so it's about 40C before you start the workout, and you're making noise for the sauna folks.
Beautiful clean rooms, very comfortanle beds, air conditiong (important in Innsruck's summer!) and very friendly and helpful staff.
