You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When it's raining (which happens) that mostly leaves the sauna/steam room in the spa but not really an indoor pool. More time for food & wine. ;)
The staff was above and beyond, e.g., in helping charge our EV, in accommodating us at the spa. Everything was wonderful - the pool, the infrared sauna, the room with balcony and view, the food, the wine tasting. The location is excellent close to many amazing wineries and buschenschanken.

But this last time we were really unhappy with how the hotel stuff handled our call regarding a forgotten branded peace of clothing. We rang the moment we returned home (when we realized we forgot it in the room) - like 10 times, no response. We left a message. No response. We called next day and told the receptionist what we forgot and where exactly. They promised to check and call back. They did not. We phoned again next day - and were really sad because they did not show they care. They did not want to listen to our explanation ... we knew where it was left. I stopped by in 10 days and then they said it's difficult to find lost items after a week ... We were really disappointed they they did not show any care - they just did not make the trouble to try to find it. or at least give us a feeling that they tried. Despite our nice stay the overall feeling is: dissapointed.
We have been returning to this property, so we generally like it.

the resting areas of the sauna, now cold tub to cool down naked after the sauna, not whirl pool. the spa area is nice, but I have seen better.

Big disappointment is hotel restaurant menu and staff. It looks like menu is same for ages and after so many visits it is more than boring and below other hotel’s high standards and far below expectations (except great breakfast). Staff is too junior and lady at SPA’s reception was ‘lost in space’ and not speaking a bit of English
Hotel itself, SPA and pool area with mobile bar, location and overall concept is exceptional. Visiting same hotel for years proves excitement and wish it will continue.

In our room At the toillet was a smell - not Because of Cleaning more Because pipes as I can guess. Also I have a problem with the payment - the money was blocked as waranty And i need another card to pay . Everything was solve in the end But not understand Why the warranty can’t be release Or Take out directly.
Super location; super personal; Incredible good food And wine; a lovely hotel. Spa facilities also super good. A truelly experience!

- Room/Suite: 1)room-entrance door does not close by itself. While it was equipped withan automated door closer this would still leave the door 5inch open. Very disturbing; Lot of force needed to push it into the lock. 2) A lot of dust in many places 3)Coffe-machine would not take the capsule easily, needed to fiddle around many times before it would work; 4) lamp/lightbulb in shower room dislodged. did not give us a safe feel when showering. - 5) door to shower very heavy and almost impossible to keep open a bit. 6) welcome at the frontdesk was correct but certainly not welcoming; check-out lasted 15min since CC machine did not work and I needed to line up at a different counter 7) room interior is a matter of taste. In our view is was cheap and lacked any design concept or similar. Looked like too few furniture randomly tossed into a too big room. 8)Too few staff for too mayn customers in the vinothek on two occasions.
Good location although not superb. Nice assembly of Spa facilities inside and outside. Nice ambience in lobby and vinothek next door.

During out 2 nights long weekend stay, everything went well. However, the night right before our departure, the hotel preauthorized the full price for our stay from our credit card (without noticing or letting us know, obviously). After we paid the whole amount at checking out, the preauthorization was not cancelled and remained in full effect for next 14 days inducing quite a discomfort during our next stay in Croatia and again in Austria. We requested the hotel to cancel the block directly the same day we departed and again about a week after but with no effect (firstly, they ať least promised to do something, secondly, the hotel desk have not responded anyhow). It is still active as of now. The worst experience with "Austrian hospitality" so far.
Nice retreat hotel in a pitoresque vineyard above cosy village in Southern Styria. Great for summer weekend or longer stay, with kids, dogs, winelovers or other pets. Great food and wonderful wines.
