Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The poorly positioned shower faucet which, if you hooked it, changed the water temperature from adequate to very hot. But once you understand the mechanism, you adjust.
real cool place in Tyrol in between Innsbruck and the Liechteinstein. Good little restaurant and hiking trail near by to do plenty of outdoors activities.

We had a wonderful stay at Pensioni Edi, welcomed with warmth and great hospitality by Jan's Family. The staff was always helpful and ready to recommend the best activities in the area. The location is perfect for setting off on foot or by bike to explore beautiful trails and excursions. An experience we highly recommend to anyone looking for relax and nature!

Older accommodation; our room was located in the basement, so we didn’t have a nice view or much natural daylight.
The accommodation was spacious enough, ideal for a group of people. Many beautiful places were within a 20-minute driving distance.

I felt need of a pantry area to warm food since there was no in house restaurant. I am not sure if it was there in the building.

Very quiet house in peaceful neighborhood. Self check-in was very simple. Everything was super clean, the beds comfortable. I found exactly what i was searching for - quiet and relaxing place, where I can regenerate after exhausting driving.

We found out we had a shared balcony. We are none smokers and room 7 was obviously not. So not really usable. Taps in bathroom very hard to operate. Extractor fan in bathroom not working. Had to prompt to get details to get into the self check in.
Large room, nicely furnished, nice views and location nice and peaceful. Seefeld tourist card was a nice touch.

When you rent a double room give 1 blanket not 2 small ones. Its a double room people want to sleep together with one big blanket not 2 small ones. I am 193 the blanket was to short and not wide enough.

Very peaceful and charming location. Beautiful valley surrounded by high mountain peaks and tucked away from all the madness. An awesome location to totally disconnect from the grind and rejuvenate your senses.

Really, this is how I imagine basically perfect apartment. Like, we got everything we ordered, in messages we got codes for entry and how to pay city tax. Apartment was really great, spacious, and balcony had beautiful sunset view. Bathroom very modern, window can be closed, all in all very good apartment! In beautiful environment.

We stayed for 5 nights and didn’t have hot water for half of the stay at least. Each time we would go to shower the hot water would have run out and we’d need to wait for the 3000L boiler to heat up again, once we needed to wait 2 hours, sometimes 30 mins or so. Something to consider if you’re booking during peak season, as with the temperature being so cold, having a hot shower is a requirement.
